It’s been a slow start to the year. My clients are saying the same, and they’re holding off on any major projects for now.

Not a good situation because I have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Thankfully I also have a real drive to do continue doing creative, rewarding work.

So I’m looking at options, either picking up a couple of big clients with regular work, or finding part-time work in an agency.

Having been freelancing for 25+ years my skillset is extremely diverse (which I love) covering graphic design, branding, web design & development (fullstack baby!), IT and web hosting, along with all the stuff related to running my own businesses.

I’m open to anything, but definitely keen to continue working within music, web/tech, and creative sectors.

I love tinkering and building useful, interesting things, and would love to join a team to continue doing that. I am still running TallyHo, my time-tracking app for freelancers. It’s not making money yet, but it’s early days, and I’m pleased it already has a solid number of regular users.

I’ve been working with Magrette Timepieces since the very beginning - 18 years ago. I created the iconic Magrette logo and brand, and over the years have continued to design their ecommerce site, print ads, and all manner of cool things.

Through it all, it’s still basically just Dion McAsey at the helm, and today he’s launched something incredibly special: the first watch in Magrette’s Women’s Range.

The Moana is an absolute stunner. Well done, mate!
