Merry Christmas all! We're off for a reset, and back on deck on the 12th Jan.

This year we were lucky enough to score a few fabulous reusable gift bags made by the lovely volunteers at Re-Source. Looking forward to spreading them around for a lovely low-waste Christmas! We were grateful to have a modest sum in our kitty to donate to this charity as a koha also.

Thanks to everyone who has worked with us this year and supported our small business, and enabled us to give back.

💡Re-Source do an amazing job of repurposing and redistributing items which would otherwise get tossed "away", and turning them into wonderful things for our community, including refurbishing and reclothing those most in need, and restoring mana in the process. Look them up, and keep an eye out on their socials for the donations they're in need of from week to week. Both homes & businesses can contribute.

From our hearts and homes to yours, we wish our clients, friends and community a VERY Merry Christmas, and a positive and rewarding 2026.

Very proud of our long-standing clients at Douglas - Outdoor & Textile Innovation, who keep going from strength to strength!

The last couple of weeks we have been working hard helping them with this media release and we are delighted with the result - awesome exposure for both Douglas and their clients Mix'd Cocktail Bar, Ahuriri.

Lovely people to boot.

Tree planting time!

Finally got around to posting these pics from the planting day that InHouse was invited to up at recently.

This was part of a native regeneration project on the property and an opportunity for local businesses like us to take a day off and donate some mahi towards a project in our backyard.

A day off you say? Planting trees outside you say? Let's just say our rubber arm was twisted!

The 700 trees are funded by other businesses paying to off-set their emissions, with the project providing transparency that they get planted.

We were joined by several other keen teams including Halcyon Project Management, , & Hawkes Bay Technologies. The project was supported by the nice folks at and .

How many did we plant? No idea! But it felt like heaps (and heaps of hole digging!), it was an awesome team effort and great to meet like minded people.

Thanks for having us and we hope the trees are going strong! We'd love to be invited back for the next one.

We always knew she was wonderful, and now it's been confirmed!

Huge congratulations to our Megan Harris for being the inaugural recipient of the Hawke's Bay Tourism Industry Association Di Snee Spirit of Hawke's Bay Award.

For those who knew her, Di Snee was an incredible, positive force within the local tourism and business community. She left an inspiring legacy that no shoes could fill.

To say Megan was humbled to receive this award would be an understatement. But knowing how hard she works and advocates for the tourism industry (for the last 19 years, including 10 years on the TIA board!), we know this recognition is 100% deserved.

Megan is now kaitiaki of this beautiful Te Matau a Māui taonga until next year, when the next recipient will be honoured in Di's name.

We are so proud of you Megan!!

How great to see the next generation of marketers coming through! Here's Jodi with one dedicated young professional, Paige Archer.

Paige had plenty of initiative and drive to ask for an internship with us, following her Diploma at EIT Hawke's Bay. While we didn't have an internship programme as such, we put our heads together and devised a mini programme to help give Paige some of the real-world experience she was craving.

Fast-forward a year and she's offering freelance social media management services from her new base in Taupo, and continuing to learn and build.

Congrats on your marketing adventure Paige, it is lovely to work with you. 🌻

Same people, same ownership, but we felt it was time for us to better reflect our values.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, with your ideas, encouragement, and continued trust. We absolutely love working with each and every client, and working in with so many awesome people in various spaces across communities and industries.

It's a joy to support organisations from within and we appreciate the insights we get from working under the hood of such a neat variety of operations. You're all awesome!

Watching a heading dog at work has a real quiet beauty about it. The silent interaction between dog and sheep is profound, and the sheep kind of tumble gently along like waves.

This was the first time I've been hosted at my clients' farm, and was invited to experience a slice of what it's like on their patch of earth. It was also the first time I've ever been down that particular slice of Central Hawke's Bay. I'm a townie who spends most of her days inside, so it was literally a breath of fresh air!

But weekend before last I was so grateful for the opportunity and to be able to witness the quiet ease out there.

So often in business and life we are rushing around. These awesome clients, with kids and businesses and a farm to run, are no exception. Neither am I.

But these animals seemed to know something!

Think how it would be if we could all apply such a natural ease in our own business and lives.

I'm keen 🙋‍♀️

So friends, this one's for the animals 💙🐑🐕
