For over two years ACS Marketing has supported the Kāpiti Food and Beverage sector through cluster development. This sector features growth focused artisans who are market-aware, progressive entrepreneurs that develop innovative food and beverage products.

Economic development has always been a passion and the opportunity to work and support really cool local businesses has been a privilege.

Thanks to Economic Development team for driving forward this cluster development and allowing me to support the sector.

Last night I hosted my final Food and Beverage Industry event and it was great to connect and celebrate the sectors mahi.

The Womanhood Journal NZ was born out of an idea to share a collection of stories from women across Kāpiti and Horowhenua, in celebration of International Women’s Day.

It's been a privilege to lead this passion project and it would not be possible without the dream team of Sarah-Jayne our incredible designer from and the amazing Jess from .music who edits along side me. Their passion has inspired me to keep going this year and get this out to the world.

It was a deliberate project to share powerful stories of real women’s journeys through business and life. In this special fifth issue of the Womanhood Journal we pay tribute to the incredible women who have been brave enough to share their stories.

To date we have heard from more than 120 women in our community whose stories have offered depth and diversity, inspiration and unity. This celebratory edition features all of their faces and acknowledges their contribution.

This year it has raised over $3,500 for Kapiti Women's Centre and Horowhenua Women's Refuge and over $15,500 has been donated to these organisations since the project commenced.

We love our PR collabs with Arriba PR & Communications and we have been busy sharing stories about Wellington Jazz Festival.

The Festival is set to return to the Capital 16-20 October featuring leading homegrown musicians and exciting international names.

It will transform Te Whanganui-a-Tara into a jazz haven with more than 150 events across the city. The line up is pretty impressive with multi-GRAMMY Award-winning bassist, composer, and producer, Marcus Miller (USA), Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning vocalist, bassist and composer esperanza spalding (USA) making her Aotearoa debut, and Virtuoso drummer Alexander Flood (AUS) also makes his debut in Aotearoa.
Fly My Pretties also return and Jazz legend Rodger Fox will be honoured with a special performance by The Rodger Fox Big Band.
