Grounded, authentic and timeless – just what we were going for.

The refined Waipuna Estate typeface was chosen to feel reputable and established, with subtle curvature in the letterforms acknowledging the meaning of Waipuna (water) and the nearby Lake Ellesmere.

And, the bottlebrush illustration adds depth to the brand, drawn directly from Waipuna Estate’s grounds 🌿

Waipuna Estate is a rural wedding and accommodation venue set in the hills above Tai Tapu, Canterbury.

To mark a decade in business, owners Sarah and Merv wanted a brand that felt true to their values and embodied the essence of the Estate – honouring ten years of excellence while setting the tone for many more to come.

Here's the result. Honestly, one of the best projects I've worked on, with one of the best clients I've worked with. Thanks for trusting me Sarah 🫶

The second half of 2025 looked a lot like this.

One-handed Squarespace edits. Client calls with a baby babbling in the background. Design to-dos ticked off during nap time.

I’m now taking on new branding, website and design projects for 2026. If your brand is ready for its next step, so am I.

I've been quiet on here.

Client projects always comes first – and with more designing (and more babies) comes less posting. I'm excited to share what I've been working on soon (and I'll post more than once a year, promise).
