A few weeks ago I woke up early on a Saturday morning and in a few hours I had done the research, wrote the text & mapped out the illustrations for my first children’s book - Te Ariki o te Rangi. I had approached SEVEN illustrators but the timeline was too tight, so I did all the visuals myself. Where there’s a will there’s a way! I got my ISBN number & went to print & yesterday I got to hold the book in my hand - hot off the press, literally. Today I launch it for an audience of TWO - my tamariki (and their friends). I have a bookstore wanting to buy it & stock it online & in-store. For now, it’s a taonga just for my tamariki to enjoy in learning about Matariki. 🌟⭐️✨💫

These are huge posters, with a beautiful thick 4-layer print process and laminated film on 200GSM poster stock.

I didn’t know I needed my shoes to levitate and spin…until now 😁 These are the custom made Hohaia Innovations/Nike shoes I got made - only one of two pairs in the world - matched up with this Culture Kings Levitation Display - a new toy the husband just purchased. For what purpose? - I do not know - but it’s cool to play with! 🤩
