Hadn't finished a trench crusade mini in a while and dealing with this skin reacting to plastics problem but decided I needed to do one tonight. Check out this gross fellow from my wifes army. She's too scared to mess up painting hers so I decided to give it a crack. I think it came out alright!

Every time you clock a business using AI, YOU have an opportunity to change that. They want your money and when you withhold it from them because they’re using stolen labor to market themselves, TELL THEM. And if you’re feeling spicy, TELL THEM WHY.

For 3 years now, artists like me have been yelling about these programs and how they’ve stolen our art, displaced us, and devalued us. More recently, we’re all learning how terrible AI is for our planet too. Few can claim ignorance now, so it’s time to implement an important factor: SHAME.

Shame is powerful. Tell them why you won’t support them for using AI (especially if you’ve been personally affected!). Tell them you’ll spend your money elsewhere now. THIS WORKS.

And it is WORKING. Until regulations and protections are in place (any day now, ffs) we have to individually make a huge fu***ng ruckus. If you’re already doing this, KEEP DOING IT. Collectively, we have the power to make incremental change. And remember AI IS THEFT. 💜

Sup 3D printer peeps! By now you know that I am likely quite vocal about generative ai being awful but the main supporting resin prints software I use has just launched a tool that lets you do just that! This means I am moving to another tool and would like to share what I've found so far: Runebrace by Artisan Guild, looks good to me, add supports move to chitu or equivalent and print.
