Those Baskets are well made by the Highlands people of Papua New Guinea. It takes up to a month or few weeks to complete Busket Making. Busket is made out from Strong Bamboos and designed in various colors. Buskets takes lots of hard efforts in creating a well designed Busket. Those freshly hand made buskets last up to more than 5 years. If the Busket is well looked after.

This two Bilum is not originally made by women by hand making. This Bilums are fake. It has been copied out by the original made and made by Asians doing Business in Papua New Guinea. Those two Bilums can't last long in Color and in tread. If you happen to shop in Asian Shops and happen to come across to those such Bilums. Report it to the Police so it must be not entertained in our country and overseas markets. Fake Asian Bilums won't last long. It is spoiling our bilum culture.
