The Bakovi Kabu Taku Association would like to thank everyone who turned up on Saturday 5th July 2025 for our hotdog fundraising

Firstly, we want to thank the kind friends, strangers and families that turned up at our stall to show their support by purchasing our hotdogs and commit little contributions towards our fundraising! ✨

We also extend our thanks to Talasea students from POM Tech, UPNG and DBTI who showed up in numbers to support run the fundraising till the end. The association commends you for your tireless efforts👏 Our gratitude also extends to those who helped us by providing transportation, Island Uber Service (Hillary Talingapua and family)🙏💯.

Finally, a word of appreciation also extend to Shop & Shop Waigani Central Branch and it's management team for giving us this opportunity to run our second mimi fundraising at their storefront. Avilolo Kamumu hateka.

Fellow Bakovi Kabu Taku, esteemed members,

As we bid farewell to 2024, I come before you filled with gratitude for the remarkable journey we have shared as the Bakovi Kabu Taku Development Association Inc. For the past years and especially this year. Though this year wasn't our best year, we continue to strive slowly and thus has always being a testament to the power of unity, the strength of our collective spirit, and the unwavering dedication of each and every one of you.

We have faced challenges, undoubtedly, but we have overcome them through our collective efforts. We have celebrated victories, big and small, and these triumphs have fueled our resolve to strive for greater heights.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every member of our association in POM and in the village. Your contributions, whether through your time, your talents, your financial support, or simply your unwavering belief in our mission, have been invaluable.

To our elders, whose financial support, wisdom and guidance have been our guiding stars.

To our youth, whose energy and enthusiasm have ignited our spirit.

To our women folks, whose strength and resilience have inspired us all.
