In a land where dreams should soar,
Oh, Papua New Guinea, what lies in store?
A cry echoes through the dusky night,
Of hearts in anguish, hope taking flight.

"The very people who protect, now harm."
This bitter truth leaves us disarmed,
Beneath the shadows of fading light,
Seeking justice, amid this endless fight.

Once guardians of peace, their pledge,
Now blackened souls, they walk on edge,
A nation weeps as humanity fails,
Quelling voices, imprisoning tales.

Oh, Papua New Guinea, where are we heading?
A land once lovely, now filled with dreading,
Injustice runs rampant, staining our days,

Hard lo kisim Justice time people who will give us justice are the one's killing us 😭😭😭🇵🇬🚩

A Nation Betrayed: Police Rob Local Shop and Shatter Dream

In a shocking display of abuse of power and disregard for justice, the local shop of Jackson David, a humble store owner who had painstakingly built his business from the ground up, fell victim to a heinous act by the very institution meant to protect and serve - the police. This brutal incident leaves us not only heartbroken but infuriated, as it epitomizes the deep-rooted corruption and lawlessness that continue to plague our beloved country.

The police, sworn to uphold the law, descended upon Jackson David's store like thieves in the night, leaving devastation in their wake. They ransacked the shop, callously seizing all the liquor, which amounted to a staggering K10,000 Grand in value. But their insatiable greed did not stop there; they also confiscated store goods, including essential items like oxen palm, drinks and rice. This ruthless act not only stripped away a man's livelihood but plunged his family into despair.

What's even more infuriating is the brutal assault on the storekeeper, who was left battered and bruised. The police, entrusted with our safety, robbed him of his personal belongings, leaving him traumatized and violated. The terror that this family must have felt, their sense of helplessness in the face of such blatant injustice, is beyond words.

The police's justification for this atrocious act is equally outrageous. They falsely claimed that the store had violated operating hours by staying open past 10:30 PM. Yet, the local store, known for its impeccable adherence to the rules, had never once breached this curfew. Even neighbors affirm that the police arrived before the clock had struck 10:30, proving the officers' blatant disregard for the truth.

This incident is a slap in the face for local businesses across the nation and every citizen who yearns for justice. Our country is already grappling with the cancerous spread of corruption and a crumbling law and order system. Now, the very institution that should be a beacon of hope and protection has betrayed us.

It's crucial to remember that Jackson David's store operates under a legitimate license and dutifully pays its taxes to the government. In times of soaring inflation, the money drained from such struggling families was meant to fund the very police force that has now turned against them. Instead, it returned in the form of five vehicles and fi****ms, used to rob the very citizens it swore to safeguard.

This incident is not just a robbery of a small business; it is a theft of hope, trust, and belief in the system. It's a stark reminder that corruption and lawlessness continue to rot our nation's foundations. The tears of this poor family, the despair of the local community, and the anger of every citizen should serve as a rallying cry for change.

We must unite in our demand for justice, accountability, and a return to the values that our country was built upon. Jackson David's story is not just his own; it is a painful reflection of the plight faced by countless others in our struggling nation. It's time to mend our broken system, hold those responsible accountable, and work towards a brighter, more just future for all.

Justice for Jackson David.
