James Marape will be regarded as the most corrupt and biased Prime Minister of all time. Now a taxi company has been awarded to a Tari man who is closely associated with PJM. This is too low. It looks like you want to create a monopoly over even the small businesses of ordinary Papua New Guineans.

โŒ Our experience with Philip Laba (owner of Kokoda Trekking and Track Operating)

(KOKODA FOOTSTEPS)

We booked and fully paid for a 2.5-day tour in Goroka (20โ€“23 June 2026) for USD 1,160 + 1,000 PGK. ๐Ÿ’ธ

However, Philip Laba only transferred 1,000 PGK to the local guide in Goroka, which covered only a half-day tour and one nightโ€™s hotel accommodation. The rest of the tour that we had already paid for was never provided. โŒ

When we demanded a refund, Philip Laba promised to meet us at our hotel in Port Moresby and return our USD 1,160 in cash. He never showed up. ๐Ÿšซ

Instead, he threatened to have us arrested at the airport. Despite his threats, we reported the incident to the police and filed an official police report at Boroko Police Station, Port Moresby. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿ“„

After returning home, we repeatedly asked him to refund our money by bank transfer, but he has completely ignored all of our messages. ๐Ÿ“ต

๐Ÿšจ Even worse, this page is using our photos and falsely claiming that our tour was successfully completed. This is completely false. โŒ๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ“‘ We have all the evidence:

โœ… Official police report filed at Boroko Police Station, Port Moresby

Tambul-Nebilyer Electorate.

My fellow Papua New Guineans,

I wish to put on record that Hon. Baki Dakri Baki, MP for Tambul-Nebilyer, is currently serving as a Minister Without Portfolio. Despite this, he is not above the law and should not be insulated from police arrest and investigation into the alleged K200 million fraud involving SME funds that were disbursed under his watch as the former responsible Minister.

I am reliably aware that the Police Special Investigation Board (SIB) is now handling this matter. The file will be examined before arrests are made.

I further understand that one arrest has already been made in Mt. Hagen โ€” of a lodge owner who allegedly received K500,000 from the proceeds of this fraud.

I also call on police to move swiftly. The so-called "million-dollar babysitter" and the wife of the Minister, who have both been implicated in this saga, must also be arrested and questioned including other Members of parliment implicated and other special SME owners disbursed with the funding.

I therefore appeal to the Police Commissioner and the SIB to act without delay and to arrest the Minister responsible first. No one is immune to the law.

Papua New Guinea is watching. No stones must be left unturned. We want to see the proceeds of crime be reimbursed to our small table mamas and farmers at home.

There cannot be two separate laws โ€” one for ordinary citizens and one for politicians.

Let justice prevail. Arrest the culprits now.

We were able to capture this information before IPA removed it off their web. JOME HIRE CARS owned by Hon. Jacob Maki deputy Police Ministers wife was paid 1.3million from the Win Daki Saga.

A very professional scammer....
I have laid formal complain, involved top Police SQ and managed to locate his House. Locked him behind bars at hohola then transferred to Boroko. I was to send him to Bomana, his wife who's also a police assistant used different name and came out at night using deals under the table.....

He involves people in Big tags,he has connections, whatever you name it. I was surprised to know he has about more than Seven different names, each with different driving License etc..... you'll see him often at NID office and Vulupindi house.
I have an outstanding police case with him ,he scammed K20,000 plus from me claiming to sell an asset for K50,000.
I flew from Lae to POM with K30,000 cash on hand to meet him and an elder leader and politician ( name witheld) ... It turned out he was a professional scammer,he uses documents of business houses too which I will still get to the bottom....
Don't believe in everything you see on Facebook or any form of social media.
He's a scammer, I also extended invitation through police to 3rd party involved, we all were at station na longpla story tumas....
