From our humble Island of Ahus in Manus, to POM City.
It's more than just baskets. Its the sentiment of culture, embedded through skilful weaves -a showcase of love, motherhood, and generational skills passed from one Generation to the next. A gift from one home to another - share our stories through Baskets.

The Journey by Sea, to the Plane, to the Land - these arent just simply baskets -. They share a part of our Island Culture to you.

We praise the efforts of PNG ebook Campaign and supporting Bodies, that had made this a reality, and we hope to collaborate further - all for the Joy of knowing, we are preserving our culture - all the while bringing smiles to our Talented Sisters, Mothers, and Daughters.

Ferlii Fashions wishes to advise, that our next orders would be optional to customers to help support the campaign.

FLY HIGH LITTLE BUDDY!

If you ever thought Designing is hard - it is not at all till you find yourself designing for your own son! THIS becomes a battle of emotions!

Landen, or as the family and team would know "Denden" was a pure soul. One that was rich with smiles, and squeaky Laughs. A whole lot of Chubby cuteness, with alot of personally. A life so filled with too much energy - that a dull moment was never enough to break him.

😢 leaving everyone in shreds, we dreaded this moment where Ferlii Fashions would have to bring ourselfs to design his flyer and everything that came with it.

Early hours today, we spent some good time going back and forth on images. Not because we didnt know what to do, but because we found ourselves dumb, clicking on the same image over and over, and over wishing we didnt have to do this.

Every art we placed broke our hearts further. Every text was a realization that the truth is never going to Lie. Every color wasnt a choice - it was a blow to our head to wake up! Wake up and realize Denden is gone. We questioned if ever - this was passion! We had this as our motto "Turning Passion into Fashions" but whats this Broken Feeling? Whats that thorn in our brain? Why the razor sliding through the veins on our hand, preventimg us from clicking that dumb stubborn mouse! Is the mouse not working? Or the stupid screen is just as stupid being frozen?! Is that raw emotion?

Hot tears 😢 on a cold morning against blurred screens - we can do this. We can do this. Just one more step to completion. We fought our demons, the untouched emotions gushing cold winds. It is therefore time we must admit "nothing hurts more than designing for your own loved ones".

We pass our sincere thanks to everyone that shared our sorrow, and to everyone that had reached out to working with us. We also appreciate our customers who had been very understanding with the delays and and rescheduled deliveries etc. We appreciate you. Thankyou.

Mostly, thankyou Denden for giving us this experience. This is truly the hardest designing we have ever done - not because of the art, but because of the Emotions that come with it - perharps this is why a graphic designer is called a graphic designer - we design with passion, and we share the emotion.. We hope that going forward, that new found courage would help us deliver the best of our work to Papua New Guinea, and in our best dedication to our son - Denden!

Ferlii Fashions Prides on stories that are embedded within Designs. Abigail's concept of what she wanted for her polos, was creative- and to mention culture oriented. We wanted to give our best work - and we did with Abi Gail's support. And to see people wearing designs proudly, is the reason why we exist for our customers.
