WE’RE HIRING: TALENT MANAGER

EVS – Elite Virtual Support is a fast-growing, managed remote talent hub serving international clients across AU, US, UK, and CA markets. We do not sell freelancers. We build reliable, structured, long-term remote teams backed by systems, SOPs, and accountability.
We are looking for a Talent Manager who can build and own the entire people function from zero, not just recruit, but design the talent engine that allows the company to scale cleanly.
This role is critical in our startup phase.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Talent Manager is responsible for end-to-end talent operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking, retention, and culture building. You will work closely with the Managing Partner and Operations Manager to ensure we are hiring the right people, at the right time, with the right structure.
This is a hands-on role. You will not inherit systems, you will help build them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment & Hiring (Core Priority)
• Own the full recruitment cycle for all roles (VAs, specialists, internal team)
• Create and post job ads aligned with EVS standards
• Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and shortlisting
• Coordinate with Operations and Managing Partner on final hiring decisions
• Build and maintain a reliable talent pipeline for future scaling
2. Onboarding & Talent Readiness
• Design and manage onboarding processes
• Ensure contracts, NDAs, and documentation are completed correctly
• Coordinate training schedules with Operations
• Ensure new hires are fully ready before client deployment
3. Performance & Retention Management
• Track attendance, performance, and early warning signs
• Support performance improvement plans with Operations Manager
• Implement feedback loops and basic performance reviews
• Reduce churn through structure, clarity, and proper role fit
4. HR Systems & Documentation (Startup-Level)
• Maintain employee records and compliance documents
• Help document HR-related SOPs as the company grows
• Support implementation of time tracking, policies, and internal rules
• Ensure consistency, fairness, and professionalism
5. Culture & Talent Standards
• Uphold EVS values, professionalism, and discipline
• Ensure VAs and staff understand scope, boundaries, and expectations
• Act as a bridge between management and staff when needed

• Primary: Managing Partner
• Works closely with: Operations & Systems Manager
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST-HAVE)
• Proven experience in recruitment, HR, or talent management, preferably in a BPO, VA hub, or outsourcing environment
• Strong interview and screening skills
• Comfortable working in a startup environment
• Able to work onsite in Angeles City, Pampanga
• Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Can handle pressure, volume hiring, and fast turnarounds
NICE-TO-HAVE (ADVANTAGE)
• Experience hiring for international clients
• Familiarity with VA roles, remote work setups, or offshore staffing
• Experience building SOPs or HR processes from scratch
• Background in performance management or QA support

• Compensation: TBD / Negotiable, based on experience
