Purchased a Creality SpacePi X4 mainly because I am Entering PETG territory. PETG filament is known to absorb more moisture compared to PLA filament. A dryer like the SpacePi X4 can be used as both a dryer and a storage and making sure that the filaments are dry while printing. This prevents prints from stringing. It is also better than regular filament dryers because I can use the filaments without taking them out. It also has 2 separate chambers so I can dry either 4 PETG / 4 PLA / 2 PLA and 2 PETG filaments.

New filaments aka 3D printer inks. These are PETG filaments. The 2 most common types of filaments are PLA and PETG. PLA filaments are good for making toys, keychains or non-functional items as they can easily break. PETG filaments on the other hand are much tougher and healt resistant. PETG are also food grade so they can be used for items that are in contact with food like bowls and lids. PETG are a bit tougher to work with though but hopefully we won't have any issues with prints. Will post some sample prints soon.
