Recently, nag-post ako about sa mga clients na hindi ko na tinatanggap kasi masakit sa ulo.

Pero recently, may isang LOCAL client na nagpakitang-gilas agad.

And honestly, nagulat ako kasi akala ko sa international clients ko lang makikita ‘to.

Kasi sa mga clients ko na Kano, literal na nakalatag na lahat:

1. 🎬 Script
2. 🎵 Kung anong music gagamitin
3. 📁 Complete assets
4. 💻 Software & tools to use
5. 🎞️ Pacing / editing inspiration
6. ⏱️ Clear timeline

As a video creative, ITO ANG GUSTO NAMIN. 😂

Hindi yung:
“Boss, ikaw na bahala. Basta maganda.”

Tapos pag-send mo:
“Pwede pa-bago?” 😭

Kumbaga sa paggawa ng bahay, may blueprint ka na.

Hindi mo na kailangang hulaan kung saan ilalagay ang pinto, bintana, kusina, at hagdan.

Gagawin mo na lang yung nasa plano.

And when clients give creatives a clear direction,
mas mabilis ang workflow, mas konti ang revisions, at mas maganda ang output.

Kaya shoutout sa mga clients na marunong magbigay ng magandang brief.

Hindi kayo demanding. Organized kayo. And we LOVE that. 😍

Every 100 inquiries na ri-received ko per day, 50% may ganito:

1. Rush
2. “Budget meal lang”
3. Walang proper script/instructions

Kaya hindi ko basta-basta ina-accept lahat ng clients. Here’s why:

1. Rush?
May standard turnaround time ako because I have existing clients and projects na naka-schedule. Hindi pwedeng biglang ipasok yung rush project at maapektuhan yung commitments ko sa ibang clients.

Gusto EOD, pero gusto pa discount. 😭

If kaya ko naman gawin within 2 days, may rush fee. Kasi binabago ko yung schedule ko and inuuna ko yung project mo over other work. Hindi yung rush na nga, ikaw pa hihingi ng discount. 😂

2. “Wala akong budget.”
I don’t lower my rate just to close a client. This is my standard rate, and I’d rather work with clients who value the service than accept a low-paying project na masakit pa sa ulo.

3. Walang proper instructions pero maraming revisions?
Kung walang clear script, peg, or instructions from the start, mahirap mag-expect ng perfect output agad. Tapos kapag maraming revisions, ako pa ang hahabol sa changes na sana na-set na from the beginning.

At the end of the day, hindi lahat ng inquiry kailangang maging client.

I’d rather have fewer clients who respect my time, rate, and process than more clients who drain my energy. 🎥
