The On-the-Spot Acrylic Painting Competition of Beyond the Canvas brought together talented participants who showcased creativity, skill, and personal style. From a strong field, the top 30 stood out for their remarkable artworks.

From these, the top 9 were carefully selected by our judges for their exceptional technique and vision, with the top 3 winners emerging for demonstrating outstanding mastery and techniques.

Special awards were also given, thoughtfully chosen by Mr. John Rowell Correa, to recognize unique approaches, bold experimentation, and creative storytelling, honoring the creativity of all participants.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants, and sincere thanks to our judges and sponsors—Mr. Jayson Cortez, Mr. John Rowell Correa, and Art Club Manila—for supporting and guiding our young artists throughout the competition.

Belated Happy Birthday to our ever-reliable Miky, one of the true pillars of Duece Avenue!

We might be late with this greeting, but we’ll never forget how much you’ve given to the section and the page. Reliable, consistent, and always on time — you’ve helped us in so many ways, and we’re genuinely grateful for that. As our previous secretary, you were always the first to arrive, the one who kept track of every task and to-do, making sure nothing slipped through the cracks.

But beyond the work, you’re also our kikay girlie who can just as easily switch gears and rock those pampogi fits. Always slaying, whatever the look.

Thank you for being such a strong presence in BFA-2A. We’re proud of you, and we’ll always be here to cheer you on. ❤

Sa patuloy na pag-usbong ng AI, unti-unting nabubura ang hangganan sa pagitan ng tunay na paglikha at ng likhang bunga ng teknolohiya. Para sa mga mag-aaral ng CAFA, hindi lamang ito usapin tungkol sa teknolohiya, kundi ng etika.

Sa kabila nito, isa lamang ang tiyak — may mga bagay na maaaring gayahin, ngunit hindi kailanman kayang tumbasan ng Artificial Intelligence.

Sa huli, kami ay naninindigan para sa iisang adhikain: ang pahalagahan at igalang ang mga tunay na lumilikha para sa bayan.

Nariyan ang AI para tulungan tayo, pero hindi ito dahilan para tayo ay palitan.
