No matter how fantastic your content is, it can only serve its true purpose if your ideal clients see it.

I know how easy it is for you to create content.

However, nailing your content strategy solves only a piece of the puzzle and does not make it complete.

This implies that you must also work to ensure that you have the right audience in place in order to nurture and convert them through your content.

If you want your content to serve its true purpose, here are three mistakes you should correct right away.

You Are Not Devoting Enough Time To Lead Generation -Generating leads for your business ensures that you have people to sell to. How can you expect your clients to find you if you're not spending time on this activity because you're too busy with other business and personal priorities?

It takes time to attract them with your content, and waiting for them to find you is not a strategy. If you want to see the best results from your content strategy, combine it with an effective lead generation strategy to increase the number of ideal clients who consume your content.

You Are Not Tracking Your Leads -Trust me, a tracker is essential for your sanity. It's impossible to remember what buyer stage a lead is in if you don't keep track of it, whether they're cold, warm, or hot. Tracking your leads can help you stay on top of everything, see your progress, and see the results you generated.

You Are Not Engaging Intentionally -Let's face it, engaging is time consuming, and engaging at random is not a strategy. What impression do you think you're making if you're mindlessly scrolling and leaving generic comments? Connect with, learn about, and form relationships with your ideal clients. That is how trust is built.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND HOURS ON ENGAGEMENT IN ORDER FOR YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS TO NOTICE YOU.

Reread that sentence.

People have always asked me how many hours I need to engage, how many accounts I need to comment on, and how many likes I need to give when I do engagements.

You're always concerned with the NUMBERS.

That is why engagement appears to be stressful and time-consuming.

However, in order to avoid wasting your time on engagements, you must ENGAGE INTENTIONALLY.

To engage purposefully means to LOOK BEYOND the numbers.

It demonstrates that you care about other people's content (or the content of your ideal client).

Not just commenting for the sake of engaging.

I'm sure you can tell if someone is speaking to you authentically or not.

And once you can do so authentically, you will begin to attract your ideal clients.

That's how I met my clients and made new friends on Instagram.

In case you didn't know, Call To Actions are a great way to get your community to respond.

Most of the time, people need to be directed or guided in order to act - and CTAs are here to help!

Because they know what you expect them to do, using CTAs makes it easier for them to engage with your post!

Posting content multiple times per day does not always guarantee the desired results.

Quality over quantity, in my opinion, is the real deal here.

If you're just going to create content for the sake of having something to post but with little to no relevance to your audience, you should skip it and save or redirect your energy to something more productive.

When it comes to posting, it is preferable to wait for your most recent post to reach the majority of your followers before publishing a new one.

The last thing you want to do is make yourself appear annoying by posting multiple times per day.

And, whether you decide to post five, four, three, or two times per week, remember to keep it CONSISTENT with your other strategies.

Aside from that, remember that nailing your content should be just one part of your overall Instagram strategy.

Did you know that one of the most common mistakes businesses make on Instagram is failing to have an optimized profile?

As much as you want to focus on creating valuable content, searching for the best hashtags, and engaging in genuine engagements on Instagram, don't forget to polish what is usually constant — your profile.

Your profile is one of the first things your visitors see when they visit your account.

It can help your potential clients find you and buy your products or services without you having to put in any extra effort! 💰

This means that failing to optimize your profile can mean missing out on a lot of opportunities to grow your Instagram for business!

I'm sure you wouldn't want that, would you?

So, if you're not taking it seriously yet, I'm here to tell you that it's TIME!

TO OPTIMIZE YOUR PROFILE, FOLLOW THESE STEPS.

* NAME - Include your first name as well as, most importantly, your niche. People searching on Instagram's search bar will most likely find you through the niche you've assigned to your name. What I can also recommend is that you use the simplest word that is related to your niche so that people can find your account in the search results.

* USERNAME - Your username can be either your personal or professional name. Use of special characters and numbers should be avoided. Use them only when absolutely necessary.

* WEBSITE - Aside from your website, I believe that putting direct links to your offer is more effective on this. Leading them to your website can easily lead to them getting lost, whereas reducing the number of clicks they need to make can increase the likelihood of them purchasing your offers.

* BIO FIRST LINE - Explain who, what, and how you can assist your ideal clients.

* BIO SECOND LINE - You may highlight an accomplishment related to your niche or something that distinguishes you.

* BIO THIRD LINE - Include a call to action that will entice them to click on your website link.

As you can see, optimizing your profile is a simple way to increase your visibility.

Now is the time to give your account a profile makeover and see how it changes!
