Bakit ganito ang ating mindset?

Pag may pera, gastos agad.
Pagbaba ng isang seaman, dapat may palibreng inom sa kamag-anak.
Pagdumating galing abroad, dapat magpakain sa mga barkada.
Pag may pera, bakit parang obligado ka na gastusin?
Why do we say bahala na bukas?
Bakit one-day millionaire ang habit?
Bakit may pa “reward yourself” excuse even when there is nothing saved?

If we do not change the way we think,
we will keep chasing money just to lose it again.

Many families are drowning in debt,
not because the income is too small,
but because the appetite for approval is too big.

We buy to impress.
We spend to be noticed.
We post to prove we are “okay,”
even when bills are piling up at home.

The truth is, the applause we chase is temporary.
The likes fade.
The compliments stop.
And the only thing that stays
is the stress of unpaid dues and the tension it creates at home.

Detach from the need to look rich.
Happiness is not in the latest phone, branded shoes,
or dining in expensive restaurants just for the picture.
It is in having peace at the dinner table,
in knowing tuition is paid,
and in sleeping without the weight of debt on your chest.

Choose instead the peace of living within your means.
At the end of the day,
your family needs security more than social media approval.
