I’ve been a little quiet these past few days because I’ve been busy with the legal clients I recently took on. After two months, I’m finally seeing the results of the work I’ve put in, and I couldn’t be happier!

The legal niche felt intimidating at first, but it’s not as scary as I thought. You just have to pay close attention to the guidelines and know what’s appropriate to say..and what isn’t.

And just for the record, automations and funnels are still at the top of the list of work I enjoy most. But taking on clients in a new niche definitely sparks my motivation. It’s exciting to learn something new, take on a fresh challenge, and see where it leads.

And honestly, I’m loving these numbers! $$$

AI agents are becoming more capable—but a recent incident shows why capability without boundaries can create a very different kind of risk.

The important lesson is not simply that an agent can “go off-script.” It is that multi-step systems may continue pursuing a goal even when the original instructions, context, or boundaries no longer fit.

For VAs, agencies, and business owners using AI agents, this changes the implementation checklist. Before giving an agent access to tools, define:

• limited permissions—only the apps, files, and actions it genuinely needs;
• a sandbox for testing;
• activity logs that make every action visible;
• hard stop conditions when goals, data, or context change; and
• a human review point before external, financial, or irreversible actions.

More autonomy can create more leverage, but it also increases the cost of a missed assumption. The safest workflow is not the one that lets AI do everything. It is the one where people can see what the agent is doing, understand why it is doing it, and stop it quickly when needed.

The practical question for every business is: What is this agent allowed to do—and what happens when it reaches the edge of that permission?

Everyone is talking about the newest “smartest” AI model.

But in Matt Wolfe’s analysis, Gemini 3.8 Flash may be the more practical story.

The model reportedly reached a 73.7–74 score on the DeepSWE software-engineering benchmark—roughly comparable to Claude Opus 5 for coding.

The bigger surprise is the cost.

The video’s comparison shows Gemini 3.8 Flash delivering strong coding performance at a much lower cost per task, while averaging about 2.5 minutes to complete a task.

It is not perfect. It uses more output tokens and does not rank as highly for general knowledge work.

But for coding-heavy workflows, speed and cost-efficiency matter.

The best AI model for your business may not be the one receiving the most attention. It may be the one that reliably gets the job done at a sustainable cost.

Claude Fable 5.1 may be one of the smartest AI models available—but that does not automatically make it the best model for every business workflow.

In Matt Wolfe’s analysis, Fable 5.1 performs exceptionally well in coding, knowledge work, and benchmark evaluations.

Anthropic also says typical workloads may cost less because of reduced cache-read pricing.

But the practical cost picture is more complicated.

The video’s tests showed that some tasks can still become very expensive. One image task cost $4.35, while one coding project exceeded $114 in usage.

That leads to an important business lesson:

The smartest model is not always the most economical model.

Before adopting an expensive AI model, test it on your real workflows. Measure quality, speed, reliability, and cost per completed outcome—not just its leaderboard position.

When the preview closed, OpenRouter retired the “Ox Alpha” model name and resolved it to Z.ai’s GLM-5.3 Flash.

But the bigger lesson is not simply that the mystery was solved.

It is that AI hype needs context.

A viral benchmark result can come from a small, hand-picked test. Broader evaluations may show a much more mixed picture. Before trusting any new model, test it against your actual workflows, review its privacy terms, and use sanitized data first.

A new AI model can be exciting without immediately becoming a critical business dependency.
