It traces its roots to Tag-Baboy Gamay, part of Tag-Baboy Dako in Doรฑa Helene, a name inspired by wild pigs that once roamed freely and shaped the identity of the area.
As the community developed, it became Sitio Glenda, named after a mother figure whose dedication helped guide the growth of the province. Her influence continues to inspire unity and progress among the people.
Now, the festival is brought to life through a boodle fight featuring lechon as the highlight. It is more than a feast. It is a symbol of gratitude, equality, and shared joy.
Known as the โGatekeeper of Basilisa,โ Sitio Glenda stands as a welcoming destination filled with culture, warmth, and pride.
