The Digital Creatives Hub Iligan hosted a hybrid forum; online via Google Meet and on-site during National ICT Month 2025.
Organized by the City Government of Iligan headed by Mayor Frederick Siao the Center for Digital Iligan, Innovation & Sustainability, DTI Lanao del Norte, the Creative Industries Development Council Iligan, and ICON- Iligan Connect, the forum brought together digital creatives, students, and entrepreneurs.
In his Welcome Remarks, Engr. Daryl Radjac (representing DTI Lanao del Norte) emphasized the importance of content creation as a powerful growth engine for MSMEs. Elcham Campos Iligan guided attendees through the initial steps of their content creation journey, highlighting confidence, ethical storytelling, and timing;while Steps of Yorhe delved into practical aspects such as lighting, editing tools, subscriptions, and marketing workflows. Laagan Sa Iligan then showcased monetization strategies using real-world case studies. The session concluded with a lively Q&A covering recommended tools, creative mentorship, content ethics, the evolving role of AI, and even questions about the speakers’ highest earnings from content creation. Sherly Lequigan from Asian Tech-Hub Academy, Inc. announced an upcoming TESDA‑accredited Level III Content Creation (Social Media) program, which will teach ideation, multimedia asset development, and publishing across platforms. Finally, Acmilah M. Macabuat of DICT Iligan delivered the closing remarks, reiterating DICT’s mission to empower creators and foster inclusive digital innovation.
