And just like that, we’ve reached the final day of our Davao adventure! 🌆 For our last hurrah, we took a city tour to soak in more of what makes Davao special.

We went to Jack Ridge, where we got a panoramic view of the city. Then, we found a moment of peace at the beautiful San Pedro Cathedral, a historic church that stands as a symbol of faith in the heart of the city.

Next, we wandered through the famous People's Park, admiring the larger-than-life sculptures and the lush, manicured gardens. Our final stop was the Davao Museum, where we immersed ourselves in the vibrant cultural heritage of the region.

And of course, no Davao city tour would be complete without trying the famous charcoal ice cream!🍦 This unique, creamy, and subtly sweet treat was the perfect, fun farewell taste of the city.

From the heights of the mountains to the depths of the sea, and through the heart of the city—this trip has been an unforgettable journey. Thank you, Davao, for the memories! ❤️

📍Binukid Cafe - Along Highway 81

After a morning of cool mountain air at Bemwa Farm, we continued our BudDa trip with a truly authentic lunch stop at Highway 81 - Binukid Cafe! 🍂

This isn't just a cafe; it's a cultural experience. It's right along the highway with stunning mountain views, the place is built in a mix of traditional and modern Binukid style. A friendly tip: bring your jacket! The highland breeze is wonderfully cool.

We indulged in their genuine Binukid food that's hearty, flavorful, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients you can truly taste. It was the perfect, meaningful pitstop that allowed us to connect with the soul of the highlands through its authentic flavors.

A must-try for anyone traveling the BudDa road! 🛣️

📍BEMWA Farm

Our Davao adventure continues! 🌿

Next stop: Exploring the beautiful Bemwa Farm in the Marilog District, often called the "La Trinidad of Davao" for a very good reason!

In the cool highlands, this sprawling farm offered us a taste of the Cordillera right here in Mindanao. The landscape is breathtaking, with vast, terraced fields of lush vegetables and vibrant flowers painting the hillsides. The cool, fresh air was a welcome treat as we wandered through the scenic paths.

We had the most amazing time on a horseback ride, trotting through the farm trails and taking in the stunning mountain views—it felt so peaceful and freeing! And of course, we couldn't leave without trying their famous strawberry-flavored taho! Sipping that sweet, warm, and uniquely fruity treat while surrounded by the cool climate was an experience we'll never forget.

If you're looking for a refreshing escape from the city with a touch of adventure and a whole lot of charm, Bemwa Farm is an absolute must-visit. A perfect day in the highlands! 🐴🍓

📍Seagull Mountain Resort

After that wonderfully comforting sikwate and suman breakfast at Seagull Steakhouse and Coffee Shop, we decided to wander around and explore the Seagull Mountain Resort itself, and we're so glad we did!

This place is a charming hidden gem nestled in the cool highlands. We spent the rest of our morning just strolling through the lush, well-maintained gardens and taking in the fresh mountain air. The main attraction for us was the stunning mountain views.

The resort has such a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere, with so many cozy nooks and picturesque spots to just sit back and enjoy the serene environment. It was the perfect, unhurried way to continue our day after that delicious traditional breakfast.

If you're heading up to Buda, this is definitely a fantastic spot to relax, refuel, and recharge. Highly recommended for a quick cool escape!

📍Seagull Steakhouse and Coffee Shop

After the enjoyable and naturistic panoramic views at Sea Cloud Mountain View Resort, we decided to warm ourselves up the best way we know how, with a hearty, traditional Filipino breakfast! ☕️ We went straight to the famous Seagull Steakhouse and Coffee Shop to try what everyone's been talking about.

We cozied up with a cup of their rich, native sikwate (hot chocolate) made from pure tablea, and paired it with their special chocolate suman. The combination was absolutely perfect! The sikwate was thick, not too sweet, and incredibly comforting, while the sticky rice suman with its chocolatey coating was the ideal companion. It felt like a warm, delicious hug from the inside, a true taste of Filipino comfort food that has been enjoyed for generations.

It was the perfect, cozy stop to refuel and savor the local flavors before continuing our Davao adventure. A must-try for anyone visiting the area!

From the shores of Samal to the skies of Buda! 🌤️ Our next stop is the breathtaking Sea Cloud Mountain View Resort, and wow—what a change of scenery!

This place is a hidden gem perched on the hills, offering a completely different kind of paradise. The air is so crisp and fresh, and the view of endless mountain ranges disappearing into the clouds is absolutely surreal. It feels like you're on top of the world!

We spent our time just soaking in the panoramic views, relaxing by their beautiful scenery that seems to blend into the sky.

If you're looking for a serene escape with cooler weather and unforgettable vistas, Sea Cloud Mountain View Resort at BuDa is a must-visit. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and feel completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle.

📍Paradise Island - Park and Beach Resort

From the mountain breeze to the sea waves! 🌊 Our next Davao stop is the stunning Paradise Island Beach Resort on Samal Island, and it did not disappoint!

If you're dreaming of a classic beach day, this is the place to be. The sand is powdery white, the water is a crystal-clear turquoise, and the vibe is pure relaxation. We spent the day just soaking up the sun, wading in the calm, shallow waters, and enjoying the serene view of the Davao Gulf.

We also had so much fun on a kayak! Paddling along the shoreline was such a peaceful and fun way to see the beauty of the area. It’s the perfect way to feel a little adventurous while still being able to cool off in the water.

The staff at the resort were incredibly hospitable, and it really reflects the general vibe of Davao—everyone is just so warm, friendly, and genuinely chill. It makes relaxing here feel so effortless.

It was the ideal contrast to our highland adventure and the best way to experience the coastal beauty of Davao.

A truly paradise-worthy day! 🏝️

Landscape shots from our incredible day at Eden Nature Park! 🌄

We also made a stop at Tinubdan (pic w kubo/hut), which means "spring" or "source." This is a beautiful cultural site within the park that showcases the rich heritage of the indigenous tribes of Mindanao. Walking through the traditional hut and seeing the artifacts gave us a deeper appreciation for the local history and culture, making our visit more meaningful.

You can see us here at the vibrant Flower Garden and the peaceful Fishing Village that I mentioned in my last post. But we also discovered more magical spots! One of our favorite finds was Lola's Garden, a charming and quaint garden area that offered a stunning, panoramic overview of Davao City.

So much beauty in one place!

Our first trip to Davao would not have been complete without ticking off a major bucket list item: Eden Nature Park & Resort! ✨

Went straight from Airport to Eden.

If you're looking for a place that is incredibly relaxing and lets you truly disconnect, this is it. We fell in love with the nature here, it’s a world away from the crowds and so wonderfully close to the trees. The thick, lush forest that surrounds you is absolutely amusing and you can really feel how well they've preserved this beautiful sanctuary.

We spent our day exploring some of their wonderful attractions. We started at the Fishing Village, where you can actually catch your own fresh tilapia! It was such a peaceful and rewarding experience. Then, we took our fresh catch straight to the Fisher's Grill where they prepared it for us, grilled to perfection right on the spot.

After our hearty lunch, we wandered through the vibrant Flower Garden, a breathtaking sea of colors that’s perfect for photos and a serene stroll. We also tried their Bamboo Maze, a fun and lighthearted challenge that had us laughing as we navigated our way through the towering green stalks.

Highly recommend adding this to your Davao itinerary! 🌿
