Smart Communications closed 2025 with a 5% revenue increase in the fourth quarter, posting a 5% increase in fourth-quarter revenues compared to the previous quarter.

According to the company, higher Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) drove the Q4 turnaround, with Smart Prepaid up 5% and mass-market brand TNT rising 3% sequentially.

Subscriber growth also improved, with 606,079 net additions and churn holding at 2.5% by year-end.

Network expansion and 5G adoption further supported Smart’s performance.

“Our 2025 results reflect solid progress in strengthening customer value while sustaining investments in network quality. We exited the year with improving momentum, positioning Smart for more sustainable growth moving forward," Smart FVP and co-officer-in-charge Lloyd R. Manaloto said.

By the end of 2025, 11.2 million devices were connected to Smart’s 5G network, a 35% year-on-year increase.

Smart also earned Ookla’s ‘Best Mobile Latency’ recognition for improved network responsiveness.

“As 5G adoption continues to scale, our focus remains on delivering reliable, high-quality connectivity for Filipinos while supporting the country’s growing digital economy,” Smart FVP and co-officer-in-charge Marjorie C. Garrovillo said.
