How much does a social media manager cost?
Because if you want a GOOD one - you need to pay (like getting a house - you get what you can pay for - so no being surprised when a $150k house doesn’t have crown molding!)
$150-999 per month if you don’t care about strategy, results, or excellence. you just want stuff posted.
$1000-2500 per month if you want someone who can deliver some results of growth, followers, and engagement. Maybe some occasional leads too.
$2500-5500 per month if you want consistent, decent results from someone who has training, education, expertise, and strategies. These people are good.
$5500+ per month if you want someone who has achieved mastery of metric-driven social media. These are rare SMMs to find - but they will not ever budge on price because they get bottom-line driving results. They can get growth of most numbers but focus on the major KPIs agreed upon.
Listen to them - because they need your buy-in to try new strategies!
There’s always someone who will ”do it cheaper” - but if you want results you need to pay and if you find someone who gets you results for less, pay them more!!! You’ve found a unicorn.
