The "Pearl of Lao Tzu" is also known as the "Pearl of Allah," a giant, non-gemstone pearl discovered in the Palawan Sea, Philippines, in 1934.
It weighs approximately 14 pounds (6.4 kg) and measures about 9.5 inches long by 5.5 inches wide, with an estimated value exceeding $40 million.
The pearl is a "clam pearl" or Tridacna pearl from a giant clam, not a typical gemstone pearl.
