Mahigit tatlong dekada na sa larangan ng komunikasyon si Mr. Howie Severino at nadaanan niya ang iba’t ibang trabaho sa industriyang ito. Mula reporter at manunulat, documentary filmmaker at anchor, mula print, sa TV hanggang online. Isa siyang nirerespeto, batikan at multi-awarded na broadcast journalist at dokumentarista.

Isa siya sa mga nagtatag ng Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ), naging bahagi siya ng investigative program na The Probe Team, naging Editor-in-chief ng GMA News Online, at kasalukuyang bahagi ng I-Witness, ang documentary program ng GMA Network.

Nakahalubilo niya ang mga iba’t ibang sektor ng lipunan sa kaniyang mga kuwentong sumasalamin sa kalikasan, kultura at komunidad at ang mga natutunan niya mula rito ay kaniyang ibabahagi.
