Hot take: Atomic Habits isn't a bad book.
It's just not written for most of us.
It was built for someone with full control over their time, their space, and their energy.
That's not the parent whose routine disappears when a kid gets sick.
That's not the person managing chronic illness or burnout.
That's not the neurodivergent brain that no amount of "environment design" can fix.
And when the framework fails?
It leaves you with one conclusion:
You just didn't try hard enough.
That's not a productivity system.
That's a guilt loop.
