My laptop didn’t need a battery, just a willpower.
This is where I started.

It was an Intel Celeron with 4GB RAM, no battery, and a keyboard so tough it doubled as an arm workout. One power interruption? Boom! Start over.

But I didn’t care. This was my training ground. I installed a cracked version of Photoshop (yep, I said it) and practiced every single day. Because skills > fancy tools.

Sounds impossible, right? It’s not.

When I started freelancing at 19, I did what everyone told me to do:
→ Apply to endless jobs.
→ Cross my fingers.

Six years of freelancing taught me this:

I didn’t plan to become a creative entrepreneur.
IT WAS A SURVIVAL MODE.

First year of college. No backup plan. No fancy tools.
Just Photoshop and an internet connection.

Fast forward six years, and here’s what I wish someone had told me at the start:
✅ Your designs don’t need to be perfect; they need to solve problems.
✅ Clients care about results, not your job title.
✅ Show up consistently even when it feels impossible.

For all the entrepreneurs out there:
Investing in design isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about creating something that speaks for you when you’re not in the room.

Your brand deserves more than “GOOD ENOUGH.”
