Being a Virtual Assistant (VA) is not “easy online work.”
It’s a business. And it’s crowded.
A VA is basically a remote professional who supports a client—admin tasks, marketing, customer service, operations, you name it. You’re the extra pair of hands that keeps their business running.
Sounds simple? It’s not.
Why it’s hard:
Because everyone and their neighbor is trying to be a VA right now.
Low barrier to entry = high competition.
And when competition is high, rates go down—especially if you’re offering “general VA” services.
That’s where most people get stuck.
Now here’s the shift most people miss:
If you stay “general,” you compete on price.
If you niche down, you compete on VALUE.
One of the strongest niches right now? Real estate.
Why?
Because real estate agents don’t just “want help.”
They NEED help to close deals, follow timelines, and not mess up contracts.
If you’re good at communication or sales talk:
Inside Sales Associate/appointment setter is a strong lane.
You can handle:
Lead follow-ups
Appointment setting
Client nurturing
Pipeline management
If you prefer non-voice:
There’s still space for you.
But understand this clearly:
Not all real estate VAs are the same.
There are two common paths:
1. Real Estate VA (General Support)
CRM management
Listing uploads
Social media posting
Email management
You support the business broadly.
2. Transaction Coordinator (TC)
This is a different level.
You manage the deal from contract to closing
You coordinate with agents, attorneys, lenders
You track deadlines, documents, compliance
You make sure nothing falls apart before closing
This is not just “admin work.”
This is deal management.
One mistake = delayed closing or lost commission.
That’s why experienced Transaction Coordinators are valued differently.
If you’re already in the VA space and feeling stuck, it’s not your effort.
It’s your positioning.
Hindi lahat ng VA pare-pareho.
If some stay stuck competing as a general VA.
Position yourself where demand is steady and skills are paid higher.
Build real skills agents are willing to pay for every single month
That’s how you stop chasing clients—and start attracting them.
I’m opening a 5-Day Real Estate Transaction Coordinator Training where I’ll walk you through the actual process clear.
This is based on real experience handling 15–20 transactions per week, working with U.S. real estate agents, and managing deals from contract to closing without things slipping through.
A little about me: I’m a former teacher, a licensed real estate broker, and a Transaction Coordinator for over 5 years. I don’t just understand the process, I’ve lived inside it.
If you want a clear, structured path into real estate transaction coordinator niche, send me a message and I’ll share the full curriculum and training fee.
