Every day is always a good day to be proud of your progress 🫀

If you asked me 6 years ago, “Where do you want to be in 5 years?” I would’ve answered as straightforwardly as possible: an architect. Period. How do you think that went? …probably not so well, because life had other plans—and those plans included putting out this little piece of my heart that I now call Studio Otso. 🥹

Funny how we forget how far we’ve come until we finally pause and look back. It’s not often that I come across little reminders like this, so I thought I’d share something to gently brighten your feed today. 😌

Save this as a reminder, repost if you want to, or even screenshot it and make it your wallpaper. 🫶🏻

Makings of a (rejected) logo concept ✏️🤍

This baby has been sitting in the archives since we first conceptualized it last year. So simple, mature, and effortlessly editorial for a photography brand that captures the essence of love with sincerity and artistry. The overall goal was to maintain structure and professionalism while never allowing that heartfelt nature to stray from the brand’s touchpoints. 🫀

After some revisions, we intentionally decided to move toward a logo direction that leans more into elevated editorial elegance and understated romanticism—something that better reflects heartfelt storytelling. More of this very soon 🥰

From a sentimental designer’s perspective—why is it so hard to let go of old work, even when it’s rejected? Our guess is this is the give-and-take that comes with creating from a place of genuine care and craft. That quiet compulsion to give each piece of work the moment it deserves, and how it carves a little space into our hearts, even if it’s ultimately unchosen.

Being able to share these snippets makes each project feel more real and human. And adding a bit of personal context feels like a small way of honoring this brand’s journey toward finding its true home. 🫶🏻

If you’ve been thinking about starting your own brand and website journey with us, we’re currently booking projects for Q2. Feel free to get in touch via DM or through the inquiry form on our website 💌

February r.e.p.o.r.t. 💗 A little glimpse of our favorite things, moments, and what-nots from last month!

One of our favorite things about having this space is how we can share bits and pieces of ourselves even outside the design work we do. We always wanna stay true to who we are online and offline and we honestly love how through these mini trends, our friends here can get to know the humans behind the studio 🫶🏻👩🏻‍💻👨🏾‍💻

See you again next month for our next report 🗃️🗄️🤍

Been a good while since we posted a color inspo 💞

Admittedly, we are guilty of using too much neutrals in our projects (for a good reason, we promise ✋🏻😅), maximizing a monochrome palette, or overusing the perfect beige shade in our posts 🫣
.but doing creative work for 5 years has its own way of making us evolve, stretch, and grow into loving colors more. Lately, we catch ourselves being drawn to warmer greens and deep reds for our studio instead of the usual browns. 😌

We still love a muted soft palette, of course but sometimes you just gotta appreciate how certain colors blend to effortlessly together 🎨🫟

Which one is your favorite pairing? 🤔

Fill your cup (mugs, hehe!) 🤍

Back again after a long birthday break for almost all of October 🫶🏻 Felt compelled to post a kind reminder for all of our friends who need it — because there is never enough gentle reminders to go around these days.

Aside from turning 27, we’ve been working on a lot of inspiring projects that we cannot wait to share soon. 🤗

(Also been into collecting ceramics lately so felt that this post was timely 🤭 mugs in post are not ours though!)

A kind reminder to take it easy and just keep going 🤍

Progress isn’t always measured by to-do lists, completed tasks, hours spent working, or the numbers in your bank account. Sometimes, it’s found in the quiet moments when you simply show up for yourself — even in the smallest ways. 🐣

As creatives, we all go through blocks (totally normal), and as business owners, setbacks are part of the journey (normal too). Fast forward five years later — we’re still here, and probably even better than when we first started. If we had let every rough patch stop us, we wouldn’t have made it this far. 🫶🏻

Feel free to tag a friend who might need this gentle reminder today. ✨
