Something happened recently that I’ve been quietly carrying.

A professional decision involving money, an ask I almost didn’t make, and a lesson I think a lot of Filipino professionals will recognize.

I wrote about it.

Three parts.
No names.
Real numbers.
Real lessons.

Part 1 is about what I walked into.

If you’ve ever taken on more work than your contract reflected,

or said yes to less than what your work was worth,
this one is for you.

I asked ChatGPT to describe what I do in a dangerously unhinged way.

It understood the assignment a little too well:

Jan is what happens when
LinkedIn strategy,
revenue leaks,
founder delusion,
abandoned follow-ups,
chaotic Google Sheets,
and one Filipino woman
with the patience of a dying iPhone battery
get forced into the same room.

She is a LinkedIn-to-revenue integrator,
which means she is not here to hold your hand
while you “figure out your content pillars.”

Respectfully, we are past that.

She comes in when
your team is posting,
your founder is visible,
your inbox has potential leads,
your VA is drowning,
your CRM is decorative,
and everyone is pretending the pipeline is
“in progress” when really it is just
a digital cemetery
with optimistic column names.

Jan looks at the mess and immediately knows:

“Oh. This is not a lead problem.
This is a leadership-funded escape room.”

She finds the exact places where revenue is being kidnapped.

The warm lead nobody replied to.

The prospect who asked a buying question and got a “Thanks for engaging!” back.

The spreadsheet nobody opened since the emotional support meeting.

The follow-up system that exists
only in someone’s head,
which is brave considering that person
has 43 other tabs open
and no documented process.

The booked call that almost happened
before it got sacrificed to the god of
“circle back next week.”

Jan helps founder-led and distributed teams
turn LinkedIn visibility into conversations,
conversations into booked calls,
and booked calls into actual revenue,
because content without a backend system
is not marketing.

It is performance art
with a logo.

With 10+ years in LinkedIn marketing,
training, remote team leadership,
and process cleanup, she has developed
the inconvenient talent of
walking into a team’s “growth strategy”
and identifying the exact part that is
quietly chewing through the money.

No, you do not need another brainstorming session.

No, you do not need a prettier dashboard.

No, you do not need to “test more angles”
while qualified leads are aging like expired
yogurt in your DMs.

You need someone to connect the dots between
attention,
outreach,
follow-up,
sales ownership,
team ex*****on,
and closing.

She will find the leak.

She will name the leak.

She will make the leak
feel seen,
judged, and
professionally handled.

Then she will help build the system
so your team stops treating revenue
like a group project
where everyone assumed
someone else submitted the final file.

Basically, Jan is the person you call when
your LinkedIn is alive,
your backend is haunted,
your leads are escaping through the vents,
and your “pipeline” is just a beautifully branded
crime scene with nice fonts.

Translation: I help founder-led teams
stop losing revenue in the messy middle
between visibility and closed deals.

And yes, it got uncomfortably accurate.

I’ll be very direct.

I wasn’t active on LinkedIn for most of 2025
not because it stopped working,
but because my focus was elsewhere:
building learning systems and training people.

Before that, I ran LinkedIn programs for Filipino freelancers
(School of LinkedIn Marketers, 2021–2024).

More recently, I went deep into updated LinkedIn frameworks
through direct training inside Jasmin Alic’s LinkUp community.

Now I’m intentionally stepping back into LinkedIn,
and I’m considering traveling this year
to run paid, in-person LinkedIn workshops
for Filipino freelancers who want to:

• use LinkedIn to attract clients
• support clients with LinkedIn strategy

Before I plan anything, I need to see where the real interest is.

If you’d seriously consider attending, comment:

“Interested + your city”

I’ll be tallying interest 5 days from today
before deciding which cities to move forward with.

No announcements yet.
Just validating first.

I want to share a bit of context here,
not as an announcement,
and not because I’m changing directions,
but because I’m being more intentional.

Over the years (since 2010),
I’ve worked with different kinds of people and teams,
founders, leaders, freelancers, service providers,
and I’ve also used LinkedIn in many ways myself.

One thing has stayed consistent.

Most people don’t struggle because they lack effort or skill.

They struggle because things feel unclear.

Unclear who they’re really talking to.
Unclear what actually matters
at their current stage.
Unclear which advice applies,
and which ones just add noise.

So this year,
I’m simplifying how I show up and what I share.

Less tactics.
Less pressure.
More clarity.

That means I’ll be talking more about:

• understanding LinkedIn as a relationship channel, not a performance stage
• noticing patterns instead of chasing hacks
• helping people think clearly before doing more

Some of you here are just starting.
Some are active but stuck.
Some are visible but unsure where it’s all leading.

Different stages.

Same need: clarity.

If you’re here to learn, reflect, or recalibrate,
you’re in the right place.

No rush. No need to perform.

We’ll take this properly.

I’ll be sharing more clarity-led insights here as the year unfolds.

Grateful for this thoughtful recommendation from Mickey.

Building training systems has always been about more than onboarding faster or documenting processes. It’s about helping people feel clear, supported, and confident in how they show up to do their work.

I’m proud of what we built together and appreciative of leaders like Mickey who truly understand how structure, culture, and performance come together in practice. ✨

Last night, I received news that my role as Head of Learning & Development has ended effective immediately due to restructuring.

It was unexpected, especially with several major training and process-improvement projects still in motion.

But I’m choosing to treat this as a transition, not a setback.

If there’s one thing I know about myself, it’s that I bring clarity, structure, and strategic direction wherever I go.

For those who’ve worked with me, you know this is where I thrive:

✨ Building scalable training systems and onboarding programs

✨ Turning messy, unclear workflows into structured, high-performing processes

✨ Helping companies hire, onboard, and develop strong remote teams

✨ Creating human-centered LinkedIn strategies and lead generation systems

As I step into this next chapter, I’m opening myself up to:

✔ Consulting / Project-Based Roles

✔ L&D & Training Design

✔ Process & Workflow Improvement

✔ Remote Hiring & Team Development

✔ LinkedIn Strategy & Outbound Systems

✔ Interim or full-time roles where structure and strategy are needed

If your company is preparing for growth in 2026 and needs someone who can build systems, improve performance, and strengthen your people and processes, I’d love to connect.

Transitions don’t define you.

How you rise from them does. 💛

Now looking for a good custom black or white frame for these photos. Any recommendations? 🙂
