LACSON: TWO PALACE OFFICIALS USED PBBM'S NAME TO RECEIVE KICKBACKS

JUST IN: Senate President Pro Tempore Ping Lacson reveals that the kickbacks from the ₱100-billion budget insertions were received not by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. but by Presidential Legislative Liaison Office Undersecretary Adrian Carlos Bersamin and Education Undersecretary Trygve Olaivar.

Lacson said the receipt of kickbacks did not have blessings from the president, as Marcos is unaware of the scheme.

He added that Bersamin and Olaivar who already resigned, name-dropped the president, making former Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co believe that the kickbacks were intended for the chief executive.
