Fan Wars? Let’s be real for a second.

I don’t need to jump into toxicity just to prove a point—because honestly, the situation already speaks for itself.

What’s disappointing isn’t the competition. It’s how some people treat other groups like they’re disposable… like their hard work, sleepless nights, and years of training mean nothing.

Calling artists “irrelevant” or discrediting their efforts doesn’t make your faves better. It just shows how narrow the mindset has become.

Yes, fans help push trends.
Yes, fandoms amplify reach.

But let’s not rewrite reality:

If there’s no talent, no discipline, no charisma—
no amount of hashtags or fan wars can sustain an artist.

And if an artist does have those things?
They will rise—whether you support them or not.

So instead of tearing others down, maybe ask:
What are we actually contributing?

Because at the end of the day,
artists build their legacy on their work—
not on how loud their fans argue online.

Support your favorites. Be proud. Be loud.
But don’t lose respect for the craft,
and don’t erase the effort of others just to feel superior.

That’s not fandom.
That’s just noise.

The audacity of some fandoms asking for support and spotlight from media to promote and be proud of SB19, while at the same time bashing and spreading hate towards other groups, is honestly disappointing.

You can’t ask for respect if you don’t know how to give it.

Now, some are even putting hate on media companies for not promoting SB19 enough. Let me share my opinion:

1. Media companies naturally prioritize promoting their own P-POP groups.
2. These groups have their own PR and marketing teams working behind the scenes.
3. Promotion is not free—it’s part of business. If you want visibility, it often requires investment.
4. You criticize BINI’s management for high ticket prices, but that also supports their production and promotion expenses.
5. You always say SB19 has its own company and that A’TIN is strong—so why suddenly demand specific recognition from other media platforms?

And about the claim that Japan is more proud of SB19 than the Philippines—let’s be real.

Japan promotes SB19 because may naka-line up na events for them there. Promotions are planned and paid for. Hindi yan basta-basta ibinibigay.

Also, ABS-CBN and other media companies are not your personal fanbase. May sarili silang artists and P-POP groups na kailangan nilang i-promote, so it’s unrealistic to expect them to prioritize others. Hindi nyo pagmamay-ari ang media companies.

This kind of behavior is also why some international content creators and vloggers are getting tired of the negativity.

• Some have already called out this behavior.
• Even G22 had to speak up after being dragged into unnecessary fan wars involving BINI.

You can be proud of your idols—but do it without dragging others down.

If you truly believe in your strength as a fandom, why not channel that into building your own PR efforts or supporting promotions positively? Other teams are simply doing their job to uplift their own artists.

Artists like:
• BINI
• BGYO
• 1621
• WRIVE

…are all being promoted by their respective management fairly and strategically.

Hindi kailangan mang-agaw ng spotlight para lang mapatunayan ang pride. BINI has their own moment, especially with major events like Coachella—let them have it. SB19 will also have their time.

Let’s normalize supporting without competing in a toxic way.
