Celebrating Leadership and Empathy: The 2-Day Peer Facilitators Seminar and Acceptance Ceremony✨

We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of our 2-day training seminar and the official acceptance of our new batch of Peer Facilitators.

To our resource speaker: Hon. Arla T. Lara, CPA, thank you for sharing your expertise, wisdom, and passion. You didn't just teach us techniques; you showed us the true heart of empathy and active listening and leadership.

To our School President: Dr. Nestor F. Blace, thank you for your unwavering support, vision, and commitment to student well-being. Your belief in the power of peer-to-peer guidance makes initiatives like this possible.

To our dedicated Guidance Personnel: Ma’am Cherry Q. Uchi, RGC, LPT, MAEd, ma’am Althea Ayra M. Lacara, RPm, LPT, ma’am Weamae Q. Sabillo, LPT, thank you for being our anchors, mentors, and safe spaces. Your guidance during these two days—and every single day—shapes us into better facilitators and better individuals. We are thrilled with the outstanding turnout at our recent Job Placement and Career Orientation for Graduating Students, helping the next generation of professionals launch their corporate journeys.

The first meet and greet with the aspirant member of Peer Facilitators was successfully conducted. The President of the organization effectively presented and communicated the plans and preparations for the upcoming organization acceptance, ensuring that all members and aspirant were informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization’s goals and activities.

Our Peer Facilitators have officially finished interviewing all applicants 🎉

It was amazing to see the passion, confidence, and potential of our future student leaders. We’re now in the deliberation stage, and the results will be announced soon. Stay tuned, we’re excited to share them with you!

In response to the needs of families affected by the fire last June 2025, GIT Peer Facilitators headed by our Guidance Counselor Cherry Q. Uchi, RGC, LPT initiates a program that was able to gather goods for assistance and relief to the victims.

The organization expresses it’s heartfelt gratitude to GIT students, through their sanctions the GIT Community were able to extend help to the victims.

Though modest, this effort reflects our collective compassion, solidarity, and commitment in helping our fellow Glanians to recover during the times of need.
