✨ What a great start to the week — and a reminder that your first opportunity has to start somewhere.

Yesterday marked my first full month as a Real Estate VA with my first client. 🥹

From $7/hr → $8/hr, plus a $100 performance bonus opportunity when a buyer proceeds with a property, this first month has been about so much more than a rate increase.

It has been a month of learning, showing up, and supporting a real estate business through lead generation, buyer follow-ups, social media, GoHighLevel CRM & automation, and lead nurturing.

Seeing a lead move closer to an actual property purchase has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey. 🏡

To all the aspiring VAs: keep learning, keep applying, and keep going. Your first opportunity can become the experience that opens the next door. 🤍

And to real estate professionals in the US and Australia looking for support with leads, social media, CRM, or GoHighLevel — let’s connect.

Month 1: DONE. VA journey continues. 🚀

Not every opportunity needs to become a “yes.” And sometimes, saying no is actually part of growing your business.

Recently, I got my first real estate VA client—something I had been working toward for a while. I was excited, but I also knew that the first few weeks would be important for me to really understand their business, systems, processes, expectations, and workflow.

Then, about 2–3 weeks later, something unexpected happened.

A company responded to an application I had submitted previously—the same day I had originally applied for my first client—and invited me for a 15-minute discussion/interview.

Of course, I was excited. An opportunity is an opportunity, right? 😅

But after looking at my current commitments, I realized that taking another client right now could mean trying to learn two businesses at the same time before I’ve even established a strong foundation with my first one.

And I didn’t want to do that.

I want to be able to give my first client the time, attention, consistency, and quality of work they deserve. I also don’t want to overload myself to the point where exhaustion starts affecting the quality of what I deliver.

So, I respectfully declined the invitation.

Not because the opportunity wasn’t good.

It simply wasn’t the right opportunity for me at this moment.

I’m learning that building a sustainable VA business isn’t just about getting more clients.

It’s also about knowing your capacity, choosing the right opportunities, and making sure you can actually deliver excellent work once you say yes.

For me, right now, that means establishing a strong foundation first. 🌸

Quality over quantity. Always.

If you’re a freelancer, VA, agency owner, or business owner, I’d love to know:

Have you ever said “no” to a good opportunity because you knew you couldn’t give it your best?

Is your real estate social media page building a brand—or just displaying listings? 🏡

A strong real estate social media strategy should do more than showcase available properties.

Your content should give people a reason to follow you, trust you, remember you, and eventually start a conversation with you.

Think beyond listings:

🏡 Listings — showcase what you have
💡 Educational content — demonstrate your expertise
👋 Behind the scenes — build connection and familiarity
📊 Market insights — establish authority
💬 Conversation posts — create relationships and engagement

Because your social media page shouldn't feel like a property catalog.

It should look like the brand behind the real estate business.

If you're a real estate agent, broker, or agency, which type of content do you think your page needs more of right now—education, market insights, engagement, or behind-the-scenes content? 👇

Getting hired was exciting. Starting the actual work is where the real learning begins. 🥹

Landing my first real estate VA client was a milestone—but stepping into the day-to-day work has been an entirely different kind of learning.

I'm learning more about:

🏡 How real estate businesses operate behind the scenes
📋 Client workflows and priorities
💻 CRM organization and lead management
💬 Follow-up and lead nurturing
🎯 Balancing ex*****on with strategy

And it's reinforcing something I've believed from the beginning:

Real estate marketing, systems, and client relationships work best when they work together.

That's exactly why I chose to build Riri Digital Studio around real estate. 🌸

I'm still learning, building, and figuring things out as I go—and I'm excited to share the journey.

If you could fix ONE thing in your real estate business this September, what would it be? 🏡

Maybe your marketing needs more direction.
Maybe you're struggling to generate consistent leads.
Maybe your CRM is a little… too chaotic. 😅
Or maybe follow-ups and time management are getting harder to keep up with.

So I'm curious 👀

A — Marketing
B — Lead Generation
C — CRM / Organization
D — Follow-Up
E — Time Management

Before you post another property listing, stop and check these 5 things. 🏡

A property can be beautiful and still get ignored if the marketing doesn't make people stop, care, and respond.

Before hitting “Post,” ask yourself:

✔️ Is this property relevant to my target audience?
✔️ Does my post explain why they should care—not just the features?
✔️ Does the visual actually stop the scroll?
✔️ Does the caption give them a reason to keep reading?
✔️ Does the post invite a real conversation?

Because real estate marketing isn't just about showcasing properties.

It's about connecting the right message with the right audience—and giving people a reason to remember you.

A listing post can inform.
A strategic post can connect. 🌸

👉 Save this checklist before creating your next property listing post.

And if you're a real estate agent, broker, team, or agency:
Which one of these 5 do you think is most often overlooked?

After 10+ years in real estate, I’ve learned that good marketing isn’t just about getting attention.

It’s about understanding people.

As a real estate professional, I’ve learned that clients don't always remember every property you showed them. They remember how well you listened, whether you understood what they actually needed, how consistently you communicated, and most importantly, how you made the process feel.

That perspective has shaped how I approach real estate marketing, social media, lead generation, and client relationships today.

Because behind every lead is a person — not just a number in a CRM.

And behind every successful real estate brand is trust.

That’s one of the principles I’m bringing into Riri Digital Studio as I help real estate professionals build better marketing and business systems. 🌸

Real estate professionals: what has working with buyers, sellers, or investors taught YOU about marketing?

I chose a niche. I took the leap. And 4 days later… I got hired. 🥹🌸

This one feels extra special because it’s my first niche-specific VA client.

I've applied to VA opportunities before, but this time I decided to stop positioning myself as a general VA and lean into what I already know:

🏡 10+ years in real estate
📱 Social media & content creation
🎯 Lead generation
⚙️ CRM & systems
💻 Virtual assistance & administrative support

I chose real estate as my VA niche because I know the industry from the inside.

And four days after submitting my application, I received the offer. ❤️

Now, Riri Digital Studio isn't just something I'm building.

I'm building it while actually doing the work.

I'm excited to document this next chapter — the lessons, the wins, the challenges, and everything I learn along the way. 🌸

For fellow VAs: have you already found your niche?

And for real estate professionals looking for support, what's one part of your business you'd love to have more help with? 👇

Real estate professionals: are you only posting listings? 👀

Your social media doesn't have to sell a property every single day to support your real estate business.

A strong real estate content strategy should do more than promote properties. It should help you:

📚 EDUCATE — Share buyer tips, market insights, local knowledge, and answers to common questions.

💗 BUILD TRUST — Show your experience, personality, process, and perspective.

💬 START CONVERSATIONS — Ask questions, share your take, and give your audience a reason to engage with you.

Because people don't always need another property post.

Sometimes they need useful information.
Sometimes they need to get to know you.
And sometimes they simply need a reason to start a conversation.

Your content can do all three. 🌸

Which type of content do you post most — Educate, Build Trust, or Start Conversations?

Comment 1, 2, or 3 below. 👇 I'd love to know what you're focusing on!

Are you posting consistently… but still wondering if people actually remember you? 👀

For real estate professionals, being visible online is only the first step.

You can post property listings, market updates, tips, and Reels every week — but strategic content goes a little deeper.

It helps your audience recognize you, trust your expertise, and feel comfortable starting a conversation with you. 💗

Before you hit “Post,” try asking yourself:

✨ Who am I trying to reach?
✨ What problem am I helping them solve?
✨ What do I want them to remember about me?

Because the goal of your real estate social media shouldn't simply be to fill your feed.

It should help build a brand people remember. 🌸

At Riri Digital Studio, I believe great real estate marketing starts with content that has a purpose — not just content for the sake of posting.

Now I'm curious: what's your biggest challenge with real estate content right now? 👇

Coming up with ideas? Getting engagement? Staying consistent? Or knowing what to post?

Tell me in the comments — I'd love to hear from you. 💕
