Generosity in times of Calamity! ❤️🩹
Last week, on August 22, 2026, members of our YEO club went to Amat Street, Mendoza building, to visit our fellow CRSHS student, Jeny Rose Fernandez, who was among the victims of the Fire in Barangay Nabago, Surigao city on August 9.
The Club was able to gather and combine majority of the club member’s donations, which are bags of canned goods, rice, snacks, sanitary items, noodles, & clothes. Bags which were carefully hand packed by our members, topped with stickers to label each bag.
Though small, the act of kindness initiated by our club adviser, Ma’am Fernalyn Mozar, together with our members led by our President, Klariemill Estrella, and Vice President, Joshua Ramos, brought a glimmer of hope and a smile to our fellow student, Jeny, and her family.
Y.E.O members are Jenyrose! 🫂
In times of calamity, we may not be able to change everything, but we can always choose to help. Thus for Jeny Rose, kindness is what we chose.🍀
