✨ Just listened to this powerful episode of The Lisa Bevere Podcast ✨ — “I Stopped Praying Like This & Everything Changed.” 🙏🌱

Sometimes prayer can feel like a routine or something we “should” do, but this message really reminded me that prayer isn’t about performance — it’s about real connection with God. It challenged me to rethink how I pray, to pray with confidence, boldness, and expectation, and to trust God’s voice and answers even when they look different than what I imagined. 💬❤️‍🔥

Lisa shares insights from Scripture and her own journey that encouraged me to stop praying out of obligation and start praying with faith and transformation — and honestly, it has changed how I approach my conversations with God. 🙌✨

If you’ve ever felt stuck, unsure, or heavy in your prayer life, I really recommend giving this a listen. 🎧✨

✨ Sometimes life feels like a “wilderness season” — dry, confusing, full of waiting. If that resonates with you, this new episode of “Conversations with John & Lisa Bevere” might just be the encouragement you need.

👇 Here’s what stood out to me:
The #1 sign God is preparing you for something more? Seasons of testing, hardship, or feeling stuck — not as a punishment, but as a preparation ground. Just like when Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness, these hard times can be shaping us, refining us, readying us for what’s coming next.

If you’ve been discouraged or wondering “Why is this happening?”, listen with open heart and faith. Maybe you’ll discover that what feels like delay is actually divine design. 🎯

Would love to hear — what’s been your “wilderness season,” and are you holding on to hope that God is working behind the scenes? 💬

Luke 21:3–4 (NIV):
“‘Truly I tell you,’ he said, ‘this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.’”

Jesus points out something the crowd didn’t notice—the heart behind the offering. Many gave large amounts, but the widow gave from a place of humility, trust, and sacrifice. Her gift looked small, yet Jesus saw it as greater because it came from a sincere and surrendered heart. God measures generosity not by the amount given, but by the spirit behind it.

True generosity isn’t just about money; it’s about offering our time, energy, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, and love—even when it costs us. A generous spirit gives not to impress but to bless. God sees the quiet sacrifices, the hidden kindness, the small acts of love we think no one notices. Like the widow, I’m called to give with trust, with joy, and with a heart that says, “Lord, everything I have is Yours.”

Parable of the Sower

🌾 The condition of the soil determines the growth of the seed.
The same is true with God’s Word in our hearts.

In Matthew 13, Jesus teaches that we can respond to His Word in four ways — hardened, shallow, crowded, or fruitful. The seed is always good, but the soil of our heart makes the difference.

May we be the good soil that listens, obeys, and bears fruit in every season.
Lord, make my heart soft, rooted, and ready. 🌱💛

🌿 When You Feel Tired of Doing Good 🌿

Even Baruch — Jeremiah’s faithful helper — once said,

“I am weary with groaning; I find no rest.” (Jeremiah 45:3)

He served quietly, carried heavy burdens, and still felt unseen and exhausted. But God reminded him:

“Do not seek great things for yourself… but I will give you your life as a prize wherever you go.” (Jeremiah 45:5)

✨ Sometimes, the greatest blessing isn’t success or recognition — it’s God’s hand keeping you through it all.
He sees your faithfulness. He knows your heart. And He promises that your life is safe in His care. 💛

Keep serving, even when it’s hard. God notices what others don’t. 🙏

I can see His promise of a brighter future for me as bright as the beaming sunrise.

When Everything Falls Apart but God Still Stays 🌅

Sometimes, life feels like Jerusalem after the storm — broken, quiet, and uncertain.
But Jeremiah 40 reminds us that even in ruins, God still protects, provides, and plants hope again. 💛

Jeremiah chose to stay and rebuild — and in that obedience, God let new harvests grow. 🍇🌾

If you’re in a season of starting over, don’t lose heart.
The same God who stayed with Jeremiah will stay with you, too.
He can make something beautiful bloom again — even from what was lost. 🌿

Luke 12:42 (NIV):
“The Lord answered, ‘Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?’”

Jesus uses this parable to remind His followers that faithfulness in small responsibilities is deeply valued by God. The “faithful and wise manager” represents someone who does their work diligently, even when no one is watching. This verse isn’t just about leadership—it’s about stewardship. Whatever task or calling God has given us, whether big or small, it’s sacred work when done in obedience and love.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to think our worth is based on recognition or results. But God measures success differently—by faithfulness and consistency. Every act of service, no matter how ordinary, becomes a timeless job when done for His glory. Whether it’s caring for family, working quietly behind the scenes, or serving in ministry, God sees it all. We're reminded to do our tasks not for people’s approval, but for God’s reward.

Have a blessed day!🥰

“Faith That Buys the Field” (Jeremiah 32)

Sometimes God asks us to do things that make no sense in the moment — to trust, obey, or hope when everything seems to be falling apart. Jeremiah was in prison and Jerusalem was under siege, yet God told him to buy a field. That act of faith wasn’t about the land — it was about believing in God’s promise of restoration.

In the same way, when God calls you to take a step of faith — to keep praying, to keep building, to keep loving — even when it looks hopeless, He’s reminding you that He’s not finished yet. The land may look barren now, but in God’s time, it will bear fruit again.
