Do you want your Facebook Ads to get a lot of comments, likes, and shares? Do you want them to stop scrolling and click your link?
I'll tell you how in a bit. But first, let me share with you a story about a guy who's trying to woo a lovely lady.
This guy, Mark, is kind and well-accomplished. He really wants the lady to like him back, so he sat beside her and started telling everything about himself -- his degree, hobbies, and what he has achieved so far.
After a long monologue, he then asked the lady if she was impressed and if she'd like to go out on a date with him.
But he realized that she wasn't even paying attention. So he walked away.
The end.
So, how is this related to Facebook Advertising?
Well, it's simple. If you fail to capture the attention of your target audience, they will just scroll down and skip your ads.
Also, it's a gradual process. You should not go straight-up to your offer. You have to introduce yourself first, show them that you're someone they can trust, and hopefully turn them into clients in the end.
Okay, so here are the 4 things you need to keep in mind whenever you write a Facebook Ads copy.
1. ATTENTION
The first thing you need to do is to grab their attention. Take this seriously because your entire copy relies on it.
How do you get their attention?
Use a creative image. This is the first thing that they will see while scrolling their newsfeed. Then back it up with an interesting headline. Your headline should be concise and something that can really break the ice.
Again, this is very important because even if your ads contain the secret to immortality, they won't look into it if your headline sucks.
2. INTEREST
Now, your goal is to keep their attention. Your first few lines can make or break the deal.
Here are some suggestions:
You can ask them a short question related to your headline -- something that resonates with their current situation or something that they agree with. You can also tell a story (like what I did a while ago). Tap to their curious brain and make them want to know more.
This should make your target audience continue reading your ads.
3. DESIRE
If you've already grabbed their interest, you should now dig deeper into their desires. This is where you set the stage for your offer.
Help them visualize and imagine how it would make them feel if they have already achieved their dreams or solved their problems.
How would it change their lives? Paint a picture of their future.
Make them salivate and crave for more. Elicit powerful emotions like fear, lust, envy, insecurity, greed, and anger.
4. ACTION
Finally, show your offer to them. If you've properly positioned your offer, it will be easier to convert them into customers.
Don't forget to have a clear step on what they need to do next. Don't just insinuate.

BONUS:
Before writing the copy for your Facebook Ad, you must have a clear picture of what your target audience looks like or what they call as Customer Avatar.
This should include their age, gender, average day, pain points and dreams, beliefs, hobbies, and status. The more information you have, the better. This will help you create a tailored copy for your Facebook Ads that will really resonate with them.
