Gugma-mela HEARTS to HANDS ( acronym H2H ) is a Self-Help CPU Students Livelihood Project Mentors will compose the Advisory Board who will guide the members.

The Heart to Hands project with the support of mentors will guide CPU students in the project. The Gugma-mela Hearts to Hands program will provide income generation through in-campus livelihood activities which will directly benefit the students to augment his/her financial sustenance while studying at CPU. This project is to encourage the students to build relationship with God through love of wo

rk in design-led arts and crafts. Members will be trained in arts and crafts which will be closest to the students’ creative passion. Head trainer will be a CPU Alumni, PJ Arañador , a famous international lifestyle designer. Training will include design and product development in tandem with entrepreneurship, social and environmental responsibilities. H2H will be managed by the members themselves by selecting their own set of officers. There will be several mentors of different disciplines. The members will be taught, among others, financial literacy, operations, entrepreneurship, marketing and other management’s skills to run H2H. The mentors will also invite experts as guests to talk anything that will make H2H members, progressive. H2H will conduct annual Young Craftsmen of the Year Exhibition where members will be adjudged with the best of their works with cash prizes and recognitions. The project will have its outreach program to collaborate with poor communities in helping them with their livelihood with the members as volunteers to encourage social responsibilities and Christian service to the marginalized members of our poor communities. Although the main focus will be the in-campus activities for the members themselves.
