When you start anything from a place of fear, or any other negativity, you’ll hit a dead end. You need to change the way you think. The way I think of fear is this: it’s a mental block. It’s not even real. You’re getting hung up on fake s**t AND letting it stop you from doing what you want. Don’t let your fictional thoughts stop you from the nonfictional life you want. Fear is what prevents you from accomplishing something. You are the ONLY one who makes the decisions about what you choose to believe, whether it's fear of not doing it well, fear of failure, or fear of risking vulnerability. Life is a balance; exercise your positive thoughts (ex. remembering we are worthy no matter what) and work through our negative ones (ex. what fear is stopping you from thinking that you’re worthy and how can we learn and grow from those experiences and rise above). Accept your difficulties and DECIDE to overcome them. Rise to the occasion. Grow. Learn. Expand. Then you can move on. When you have the opportunity, teach what you can. There are people who are waiting for you to get your act together so that you can assist them.

According to the findings, neighborhood sites appear to be solidifying, resulting in a stronger bond on already firm foundations. They provide a channel and encouragement for individuals to get active in civic and communal concerns by allowing them to raise and debate local issues in a transparent manner.

But the research also suggested that there is a limited crossover of activity from online to physical communities. Overall, only 13% of respondents said they have been involved in formal groups or organisations locally in the past year. "It seems likely that local websites can both stimulate and reflect a latent demand for informal opportunities for collective involvement, very much on a dip-in dip-out basis," said the document.
