There are conversations you forget within days.
And then some conversations quietly change the direction of your life.
Years ago, I was speaking with someone who said something so simple that I almost ignored it:
"Stop trying to be everything for everyone. Be known for something."
But then down the lane, I realised the worth of these words and that one conversation changed the way I looked at business.
Instead of chasing every opportunity, I started focusing on building expertise, creating systems, and delivering real value. Over time, I realized that sustainable growth doesn't come from doing more; it comes from doing the right things consistently.
Even today, whenever I'm faced with a difficult decision, I ask myself:
"Is this taking me closer to what I want to be known for, or is it just another distraction?"
As entrepreneurs, we often think our biggest breakthroughs come from strategies or investments.
Sometimes, they come from a single conversation at the right time.
What's one piece of advice or one conversation that changed the way you think about your career? ๐
