I used to believe marketing was a volume game.
So I posted like my life depended on it.
One post.
Two posts.
Sometimes three posts a day.
At one point, I was posting so much…
even I got tired of seeing my own content.
But sales?
Silent.
My phone was active.
Notifications were active.
But results were on vacation.
Then I blamed my budget.
I used to think,
“Maybe I just don’t have enough money.”
I watched brands running big ads.
Professional shoots.
Perfect visuals.
And there I was…
with effort, consistency, and confusion.
Until one day, I stopped.
Not because I wanted to quit.
But because I was exhausted doing more
and becoming less effective.
That’s when I started doing something different.
I used to ask,
“How much should I post?”
Now I asked,
“Why am I posting this at all?”
I studied people.
I studied timing.
I studied intention.
And suddenly… one post did what 50 couldn’t.
Not because it was lucky.
Because it was smart.
That’s when I learned the truth the hard way:
Marketing isn’t a posting competition.
And it’s definitely not a budget competition.
It’s a thinking competition.
Today, I don’t try to be everywhere.
I just try to be right where it matters.
