Your lens shapes your reality. Change the lens, change your happiness, change every single outcome at the same time. —Shawn Achor

The simple version is E+R=O. An Event plus your Reaction equals the Outcome.
How you interpret events will determine how you feel about what you experienced. Choose the interpretation that empowers you, brings you joy and moves you forward.

Reposting since there was a mistake in the original post. .
Saul Bass’ work extends beyond poster design. He created memorable movie titles for Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. Among his most famous title sequences are the animated paper cut-out of a he**in addict’s arm for Preminger’s The Man With the Golden Arm.
.
Bass designed some of the most iconic corporate logos in North America, including the Bell System logo in 1969, as well as At&T’s globe logo in 1983 after the breakup of the Bell System. He also designed Continental Airlines’ 1968 jet dream logo and United Airlines’ 1974 tulip logo, which became some of the most recognized airline industry logos of the era.

The Win Without Pitching Manifesto by Blair Enns is an absolute must read and a game changer for anyone in the creative business.
The book emphasizes the necessity for creatives to specialize. Pick a lane and go deep. This isn’t about giving up something but choosing to re-examine our need to pursue many things at the expense of price and increased competition. .
This book has been the foundation of many of the principles I share on the channel. If you want to go to the source code, read this book today. Apply everything you learn. It’s packed with clear, no nonsense information and a fast read. Skip this at your own peril. .
A manifesto of business practices for those who sell ideas and advice, The Win Without Pitching Manifesto lays out twelve steps--in the form of proclamations--that owners of creative businesses can take to distance themselves from their competition, regain the high ground in their client relationships and learn to win business without first parting with their thinking or writing lengthy proposals.
The twelve proclamations were written to inspire owners of independent creative businesses (e.g.: design firms & advertising agencies) to rethink how their services are bought and sold. Anyone who sells ideas or advice will find relevance in their teachings.
