West: A police encounter took place near Shah Baig Goth in Surjani Town. During the exchange of fire, two suspects were injured while three, including one unhurt, were arrested.
The arrested suspects were identified as Zubair son of Ejaz Ahmed, Ali son of Nawaz, and Shakir son of Mumtaz Aziz.
Police recovered two illegal pistols, ammunition, spent shells, mobile phones, cash, and a motorcycle from their possession.
The injured suspects were shifted to the hospital, while the others were taken to the police station. Legal proceedings are underway.
