I’ve been a loyal HP user for years.

It’s what I started with,
what I got comfortable with,
and it always delivered.

So switching wasn’t an easy decision.

Like many people, I had my doubts.

Different operating system.
Possible compatibility issues.
A whole new way of working.

But after using it for some time,
I realized most of those were just misconceptions.

The transition was surprisingly smooth.

All the tools and applications I rely on
worked without any real issues.

And the biggest difference I noticed was in the experience.

Everything feels faster,
more consistent,
and overall much smoother.

It’s not about saying one is better than the other.

HP has been reliable for me for a long time.

But sometimes, trying something new
helps you see things differently.

And this shift definitely did that for me.

Over time, I’ve realized something simple:

Business growth isn’t built on big, dramatic moments.

It’s built on small, consistent actions
like showing up on a Monday morning
and doing what needs to be done.

Checking emails may seem basic.

But sometimes, that one reply
turns into a conversation.
That conversation turns into a deal.

And that deal moves everything forward.

Discipline doesn’t look exciting.

It looks like this.

Ramadan just passed…

And one decision made all the difference.

During Ramadan, we chose not to cut a single salary.

In fact, we did the opposite.

We gave our team flexibility.
Adjusted schedules.
And made things easier wherever we could.

Because we understand
Ramadan isn’t a regular month.

Energy levels are different.
Routines change.
And people are balancing work, عبادت, and family.

As a business, it’s easy to focus only on output.

But this month reminded us to focus on people.

The result?

A happier team.
Better mindset.
Stronger connection.

Sometimes, small decisions create the biggest impact.

Because when your team feels supported,
they don’t just work for you
they grow with you.

Leadership isn’t just about performance.
It’s about understanding when your people need you the most.

It was Eid.

Family time.
Celebrations.
A day most people completely disconnect.

But I had an urgent client meeting scheduled.

So I did what early-stage builders often have to do.
I took the meeting from my car.

Laptop with me.
Internet managed somehow.
And the meeting went ahead.

Was it ideal?
Not really.

But when you’re building something from scratch,
you don’t always get perfect conditions.

You create them.

A lot of people talk about work-life balance early on.

But the truth is:

In the beginning, it’s less about balance
and more about commitment.

Showing up from anywhere.
Being ready at any time.
Making things happen no matter what.

Because sometimes, one meeting can change everything.

that meeting turned out to be successful

and we’ve just successfully deployed another app live.

A client conversation replaying in your head.

It’s not panic.
It’s not chaos.
It’s responsibility.

The kind that sits in the background while you’re having dinner.
The kind that makes you open your Notes app at 11:47 PM… just to write one more idea.

No one really prepares you for this part.
Work doesn’t feel heavy because of hours.
It feels heavy because you’re carrying outcomes that affect other people.

Your team.
Your clients.
The families connected to those salaries.

Switching off isn’t really about disconnecting.
It’s about learning how to carry that weight… calmly.
That’s a skill most founders develop over time.

Not loudly.
Not visibly.

Ongoing conflicts in the Middle East are starting to impact businesses far beyond the region.

And I experienced this personally today.

Over the past few days, I’ve noticed something unusual in my work.

A few existing clients have decided to pause their projects temporarily, considering the uncertainty in the Middle East.

Some potential clients I was in conversation with have suddenly gone quiet.

And today something happened that really made the situation feel real.

I had an important meeting scheduled with a client from Dubai.

But due to the recent attack on Dubai Airport, his partner’s flight was cancelled and our meeting had to be postponed to next week.

Moments like this remind you how global events ripple through the entire business ecosystem.

The impact isn’t limited to Israel or the Middle East.

It quietly affects businesses everywhere:
• delayed decisions
• paused investments
• slower deal cycles
• uncertainty in expansion plans

For tech companies and digital service businesses, this often means clients becoming more cautious with spending.

When uncertainty rises, innovation and digital projects are usually the first things companies delay.

And if global tensions continue, there’s always the risk of a wider economic slowdown, which could affect the entire tech industry.

But one thing history has shown is that technology also becomes the tool that helps businesses adapt during uncertainty.

So while challenges are real, resilience and innovation become even more important.

Sometimes, leadership isn’t about giving directions it’s about getting your hands dirty again.

Last week, one of our designers worked on a product design for days.
6 versions. 6 rejections. Same brief, new frustration every time.
I could feel the burnout setting in.

Deadlines were close, and motivation was slipping.
So, I did something I hadn’t done in a long time
I opened my laptop, pulled up the design file, and started from scratch.
Not as a CEO.
But as the designer I once was.

I spent hours fixing, refining, and visualizing what the client truly wanted
And when we sent it, the feedback was short:
Perfect. Approved.

That moment reminded me
Great leaders don’t outgrow the craft.
You can’t guide what you don’t understand.
Titles don’t earn respect effort does.

Even today, I’ll always be the designer who leads with passion, not position.
Because leadership isn’t stepping away from the work
It’s knowing when to step back into it.
