The pronunciation of the Arabic letter "Alep" with Tajweed depends on whether it comes after a light or heavy letter. After a light letter, it's pronounced lightly, and after a heavy letter, it's pronounced heavily.

Asalam Alykum!
Do you Really know What is Right pronunciation of Quran?

As Allah ordered us in this verse:
اَلَّذِيْنَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُوْنَهُ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِه
(Quran 2:121)? Translation:
Those to whom We gave the Scripture recite it with its true recital.

And Sayyiduna Bara ibn ‘Azib reports that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: ‘Beautify the Quran [recital] with your voices.’
