A delegation of MAP Pakistan - Marketing Associates & Professionals Pakistan visited the Interwood Manufacturing facility led by MAP Pakistan CEO, Mr. Tariq Asmat.

The delegation was warmly received by Interwood CEO, Mr. Omar Farooq, who also deluvered a comprehensive briefing on the company’s establishment, growth, commitment to quality, and its achievements in exporting furniture to international markets. He also gave an in-depth overview of the entire production process, from raw material sourcing to the use of advanced technology and digital transformation in manufacturing.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Omar Farooq said, “We are delighted to welcome MAP members to our factory, where they will have the opportunity to closely observe our unique production systems. We have always believed in sharing our journey of success—whether it is our approach to raw material sourcing or our adoption of cutting-edge technology.”

He further emphasized that effective marketing, exceptional customer support, transparency, and the dedication of workers are the key pillars of Interwood’s success.

A significant step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry was witnessed as the Centre for Skill Development & Leadership at the University of Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MAP Pakistan. The agreement was signed by Associate Professor Dr. Afia Khalid and Mr. Tariq Asmat, Founder & President of MAP Pakistan.
The collaboration is aimed at equipping students with practical skills, leadership abilities, and real-world industry exposure through training programs, internships, and joint initiatives. Experts believe this partnership will play a key role in enhancing graduate employability and developing a skilled, market-ready workforce.
The initiative reflects a growing trend in Pakistan where academia and industry are working together to promote innovation, professional excellence, and sustainable economic growth.

I am excited to announce that I'll be visiting Interwood 's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Lahore on Saturday April 25, 2026.
Organised by MAP Pakistan - Marketing Associates & Professionals Pakistan

This 600,000 sqft purpose-built facility is a marvel of modern-day manufacturing featuring over 300 of Europe’s most advanced machines. This includes fully-automated, AI & digitally driven robotic machinery such as the robotic polishing arm, robotic welding arm and 5-axis machine.

In addition to processing a variety of materials, the facility is specialized for maximum production flexibility, where through the use of automation, individual machines are capable of producing a variety of components for any type of product, be it a single customized item or an entire range of products – all under one roof, creating limitless manufacturing possibilities.

We are thankful to Mr. Farooq CEO Interwood for extending an invitation to MAP Pakistan members to visit this marvellous furniture manufacturing facility.
