Day 9 – Deep in the Backend 💻⚙️

Day 9: The part of social media management they don’t show you in the aesthetics reels. 💸📊

Today, I’m not writing captions or designing graphics. I am deep in the process settings of Meta Ads Manager, building out the backend foundation for my client, Naveed Signature Stitch.

Right now, it's all about precision. I’m toggling campaign objectives, setting up targeted location radiuses, adjusting age demographics, and mapping out the direct-to-WhatsApp messaging funnel.

When you’re dealing with a premium, custom tailoring brand, you can't just press "Boost" and hope for the best. You have to be intentional. Every setting you choose dictates exactly whose screen this ad lands on—and more importantly, how efficiently your client's budget is being spent.

It’s technical, it’s a lot of clicks, and it requires absolute focus. But seeing the structure come together piece by piece is incredibly rewarding.

True strategy isn't just about what looks pretty on the feed; it’s about the invisible gears turning behind the scenes to drive real, tangible inquiries to a business owner's inbox.

Marketers, what's your favorite campaign objective to use when you need to drive direct client inquiries for a local service business? Let's chat in the comments! 👇

Day 8: The "glamorous" side of freelancing—and what it’s actually like.

If you look at the highlight reels, you’d think being a freelance social media strategist is all about perfectly curated feeds and viral trends.

But I’m on Day 8 of my journey, and the reality is a lot more grounded. It’s been a week of deep-diving into brand strategy, mapping out discovery calls, and building the digital storefronts that help my clients finally get found.

It’s not always about the "big win" or the overnight growth. It’s about the quiet work—the late-night research, the back-and-forth on brand messaging, and the focus on making sure every post feels like a genuine conversation rather than just noise.

My biggest takeaway so far?

Success isn't about rushing to the next milestone; it’s about making sure the foundation is solid and that every strategy I put together is rooted in empathy, not just an algorithm.

I’m curious—when you’re starting something new, do you find yourself focusing more on the "big picture" goals, or are you currently in the thick of the "quiet work"? Let me know what your Day 8 (or your equivalent) looked like. 👇

Day 7: Growth, gratitude, and a whole lot of coffee. ☕️

This past week has been a whirlwind of learning and connecting. I’m so grateful to have you all here as I build this space. Here’s to many more days of "human-first" marketing and genuine connection. 🤍

Current mood: Inspired.

How is your week ending? Let me know in the comments.

Stop chasing the algorithm—start chasing human connection. 🤝

When I started my journey as a social media manager 6 weeks ago, I thought the goal was to master the "perfect" cold pitch. I thought I needed to be everywhere, all at once, to be seen.

But after these last 5 days of leaning into authentic, narrative-driven content, I’ve realized something: Nobody wants a robotic sales pitch. They want a partner who actually gets their vision.

In my experience so far, the most effective strategy hasn't been aggressive outreach. It’s been:
✨ Showing up consistently as my real self.
✨ Talking about the why behind the strategy, not just the what.
✨ Building trust through transparency.

If you’re waiting for the "perfect" time to launch your own project, or if you’re scared that you don’t have enough experience—remember that your voice and your perspective are your biggest assets.

I’m currently on Day 6 of documenting my growth, and I’m learning that strategy is just a tool, but connection is the engine.

What’s one marketing "rule" you’ve felt pressured to follow, but didn’t actually believe in? Let’s chat in the comments. 👇

Client calls & boundaries: My Day 5 realizations. 💼

When you are a brand-new freelancer, the temptation to say "yes" to absolutely everything is real. But yesterday, I had to learn my very first lesson in setting professional boundaries.

A potential client suggested scheduling our discovery call for midnight (12 AM). As a beginner, my immediate gut reaction was to just agree so I wouldn't risk losing the opportunity.

But then I took a step back. Ethical, human-first marketing means respecting your own time, too. I politely suggested moving the call to a morning or afternoon slot instead—and guess what? They happily agreed!

Today, on Day 5, I am spending my time refining my pricing matrix and reviewing my discovery roadmap. I'm super excited, a little anxious, but incredibly ready.

If you are also starting out on your freelance journey, here is your reminder: Your time and expertise are valuable from day one. Don't be afraid to set your boundaries!

(Tap for the real talk) 👇"

"Day 4 of my journey taught me that my biggest superpower isn't a tool or a strategy. It’s Emotional Intelligence and Self-Control. 🧠✨

In a world full of instant gratification, staying disciplined during the quiet 'waiting games' is where the real growth happens.

Consistency is a mindset. On to Day 5! 🚀

Day 4: Let’s talk about the part of growth nobody posts about.

Let’s be real for a second.

When you start a new journey, everyone wants to talk about the glamorous stuff. The strategies. The hacks. The tools. The overnight wins.

But nobody warns you about the quiet days.

The days where you’re waiting on approvals. The days where notifications are silent. The days where things move just a little bit slower than your excitement does.

Yesterday, I realized that my biggest growth didn’t come from a marketing framework. It came from Emotional Intelligence and Self-Control.

In a world obsessed with instant gratification, the real superpower is learning how to manage your own expectations. It’s staying disciplined and showing up with good energy—even when the behind-the-scenes feels like a waiting game.

Because consistency isn't just about what you do. It's about how you manage your mindset while you do it.

Every tiny, patient step is building a foundation that won't shake.

Every tiny, patient step is building a foundation that won't shake.

We are just getting started. On to Day 5! 🚀
