8 Months Efforts of PPC and building brand presence on Amazon became useless After getting USPTO mail
3 weeks ago one of my clients got mail from uspto related to brand removing because someone applied "brand issue" related to similarities in the brand's name.
After reading the mail she was very worried and even cried, then i told her not to worry, I'll try to contact amazon support to see if I can resolve the issues related to listings brand name changing. Then I called Amazon support and talked with them for more than 6 hours.They refused to change the listings brand's name due to the issue being against Amazon policies.
I asked the support for the following solution:
Me: Is it possible to change the listings brand's name?because we have spent $24000+ on ads and now we're already generating profit.
support team: No we can just change the brand SPELL, Space or Capitalization of words BUT WE Can't completely change the brand's name....
ME: Is it possible for our brand or can you give us leverage to merge the listing of our new brand then we can get benefits of previous Reviews "I know it's impossible due to different brand's name but we are the owners of this brand and facing the issue due to USPTO" ??
Support Team: No it's impossible!!
After talking with the support team.
I said to my client " We can't do anything now related to the brand's name change"
we spent around more than $24k+ on PPC and we just started to gain profits, but due to this issue we lost that brand.
P.S. " I recommend all the Amazon sellers. Before starting brands on Amazon take the services of trademark researcher because if not then this type of mistake will cause you to lose your hard earned money and efforts"
