Most dashboard redesigns don't fail in Figma.
They fail before it's ever opened.
After 12 years designing fintech products, I follow the same 4 steps on every dashboard — and none of them involve pixels:

2️⃣ Rank the numbers
3️⃣ Design the worst day
4️⃣ Then open Figma

Slide 3 is the one most designers skip. A dashboard that looks great when the numbers are green but induces panic when they're red isn't finished.
