Most common question People usually ask about broad targeting versus advantage targeting, and which one should I pick?
Broad Targeting means letting Facebook show your ad to many different people. It's like giving Facebook the keys and letting it decide who sees your ad based on what they like or do on the platform.
Advantage Targeting is when Facebook uses its data to target people who are more likely to buy your product. But sometimes, this can lead to showing ads to people who already bought the product, which is a waste of money. Using Advantage targeting can sometimes lead to a higher frequency.
So, in simple terms, Broad Targeting gives Facebook the freedom to find the right audience for your ad, while Advantage Targeting tries to target people who might buy, but it can sometimes show ads to the wrong people who already Purchase. It depends on what works best for your ad campaign.
For me, I use both Broad Targeting and Advantage Targeting. With Advantage Targeting, I test different creatives. When I target specific interests, I use both Broad and Advantage Targeting, along with 3-5 interest targets depends on clients budget. This helps me find the right audience and decide which campaigns to focus on. It's important to find what works best for you because Facebook is all about trying different things to see what sticks.
